Chaos as two cars plough through the front doors of an Australian airport
- Two men allegedly stole cash from Dubbo Airport
- They used Landcruisers cars to crash into its doors
Two men are on the run after allegedly ramming down the doors to a regional airport and stealing cash.
NSW Police allege the men ‘broke into’ the Dubbo Airport shortly before 5am on Tuesday morning.
‘The men allegedly stole cash before driving away in two separate white Toyota Landcruisers,’ it said in a statement.
‘Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.’

The local council said in a statement: ‘Two vehicles have been used to break the front doors of the airport terminal to gain access to the terminal.
‘Police are on scene working with staff.
‘Flights are not impacted by this incident.’
Passengers have been asked to use an alternative entry as the investigation continues.
