Awkward moment little girl smashes Anthony Albanese for ‘four’ in a game of backyard cricket with David and Candice Warner’s children at Kirribilli House

The six-year-old daughter of David Warner showed no respect for the PM’s bowling, smashing him for four runs during a backyard game on New Year’s Day at the Kirribilli House.
Anthony Albanese played host at his official residence in Sydney inviting over Australia‘s opening Test batsman, 36, his with wife of seven years, Candice, also 36, and their daughters – Ivy, seven, Indi, six, and Isla, three.
Coming in to bowl from the southern end of the manicured lawn, Mr Albanese lobbed a delivery at young Indi – who slogged the Labor leader through the on-side prompting her father to shout: ‘C’mon you’re supposed to be taking it easy on him’.

The family first had a chat with the PM inside the iconic venue, with Mr Albanese’s partner Jodie Haydon crouching down to talk to the young girls.Â
They then headed outside on the lawn to lap up the sun.Â
Candice also took part in the game, looking stunning in a burnt orange maxi dress.Â
After being belted to the fence by the youngster, Mr Albanese got the last laugh gifting David – a staunch Rooster’s NRL fan – a Rabbitohs cap.
He begrudgingly accepted the present but refused to try it on, to the laughter of the PM.

It comes after David shared a touching tribute to his wife after putting on an unforgettable show at the MCG in the annual Boxing Day cricket match where he scored 200.
He posted a series of photos alongside with Candice to his Instagram and expressed his love for her.
‘No words can describe my love for you!! Thank you so much for everything you do for the girls and me,’ he began.

David continued: ‘These last few weeks have been a challenge, but you’ve kept us in a positive mind frame.Â
‘The younger me would not have gotten through it. I love you with all my heart. #family #wife #love.’
