David Beckham and wife Victoria lead the stars celebrating International Women’s Day

David and Victoria Beckham took to social media on Wednesday morning as they joined the number of stars celebrating International Women’s Day – including Amanda Holden, Katie Price and Tess Daly.

The former footballer, 47, used the opportunity to share a collection of snaps while paying sweet tribute to all the women in his life for the global holiday.

Penning ‘today we celebrate you’, he gushed over his pride for wife Victoria and their daughter Harper Seven, 11, with an adorable picture of the pair rubbing noses.

While the dad-of-four also shouted out his two sisters, Lynne and Joanne, mother Sandra and mother-in-law Jackie Adams.

Following suit of her husband, Victoria shared a post specifically for her daughter as she gave an insight into family life – showing a more natural side with the shots.

For the first picture, the fashion designer sported a face mask while lying in bed and cuddling daughter Harper.

While another was from this week as the duo celebrated Paris Fashion Week together.

‘Happy International Women’s Day!! Love you so much #HarperSeven xx,’ wrote Victoria.

While her husband took a trip down memory lane with a mixture of recent and childhood pictures alongside his family.

Looking unrecognisable in one picture, a young David beamed alongside his two sisters. While another showed him celebrating a football win with mum Sandra circa 2000.

He wrote:  ‘On this International women’s day I want to celebrate the amazing women in my life who inspire me with their work ethic, loyalty, kindness and love for their families…♥️

David and Victoria’s son Romeo, 20, also shared a post as he celebrated his mum and sister too, alongside model girlfriend Mia Regan.

In the true spirit of girl power, Emma Bunton shared a picture with Victoria and the other Spice Girls while celebrating the day.

The star posted a collection of snaps, with one including Victoria, Mel B, Mel C and Geri Horner.

Almost 20 years on from first making history with the Spice Girls’ ‘girl power’ message, Emma proved that the flame is still burning just as bright.

‘Just some of the incredible women in my life who have had my back, supported me and taught me so much. #internationalwomen’sday,’ wrote the star.

Explaining that today she is celebrating her two girls, the presenter gushed that they give her ‘so much hope for the future’.

While Patsy Palmer also took the chance to share her unwavering love for daughter Emilia, who she dubbed a ‘feminine goddess’.

Helen Skelton was also a proud mother as she shared a picture of 14-month-old daughter Elsie Kate – who she welcomed in December 2021, just months before her split from husband Richie Myler.

Sharing that she ‘can’t wait’ to see the little one take on the world, the Strictly Come Dancing star gushed over her bravery for playing with the older children.
