Not present at the event was Andrew Lincoln, 49 – known as Rick Grimes on the series – who made a long-awaited return in the last moments of the 11th season finale that aired on Sunday.
The Walking Dead ended its 177-episode-long AMC run on a positive note, with the Commonwealth entering a period of peace at last.
It also prepped fans for what’s to come for show favorites Rick and Michonne who’ve been missing from the show for a few years, but will return in their own spin off show on AMC in 2023.
Morgan and Cohan will also star in their own show titled The Walking Dead: Dead City.
Meanwhile Reedus will star in yet another spinoff titled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
