Family and friends have remembered Henschke as a ‘great mate’ who ‘was the life of the party’ and will never be forgotten.

‘I’m literally speechless. I still can’t believe that you are gone,’ one friend wrote on Facebook.

‘In such a little time you became one of the best mates anyone could ask for. I sat in your room today waiting for you to come home in disbelief.

‘Rest easy bro, forever missed but never forgotten. I love you brother.’

Another added: ‘RIP Tucka Henschke. Thankyou for all the good times we had, they will not be forgotten. Always the life of the party. Fly high bro.’

A third friend said he would live forever within their hearts.

He was described by another as one of the ‘hardest, kindest and most special people I could ever know’.

His brother Kamryn said Alek had been an amazing sibling who would be dearly missed.

‘He was like, “Blood is blood, don’t forget that. You’re the most important thing to me”,’ he told Channel Seven.

‘It was amazing to see so many people coming out and giving their love (for him).’
