Damar Hamlin, Jay-Z and Drake are in town for a star-studded Super Bowl party as Chiefs and Eagles fans descend on Arizona for today’s showdown… while Charles Barkley reveals his big $100,000 bet!

With less than 24 hours until the Super Bowl champions are crowned, things are hotting up in Phoenix.

While Philadelphia and Kansas City ready for football war to win the Lombardi Trophy, those not involved are soaking up the sunshine and fun.

Bills safety Damar Hamlin was one of many famous faces pictured at the Fanatics Super Bowl party.

Hamlin was pictured alongside CEO Michael Rubin and DJ Khaled, who performed in front of the star-studded audience.

Rubin was a popular figure, seen with Odell Beckham Jr., newly minted Phoenix Sun Kevin Durant and rapper, Quavo.

Phoenix great and NBA legend, Charles Barkley is known for both his love of football and betting on the game, so it should come as no surprise he is ready to go big once again.

‘You know me and 12 of my friends go to Vegas every year for the Super Bowl. There’s a good chance I’m gonna be pulling an all-nighter,’ he told Ernie Johnson on their Steam Room Podcast.

‘I’ll probably bet 100 grand on the game. Go Eagles. E-A-G-L-E-S! Eagles!’

Despite now living in Arizona, Barkley is a fan favorite in Eagles territory thanks to his time with the 76ers.

He played for the Philadelphia franchise 1984-1992 after being taken fifth overall in the 1984 NBA Draft.

There was more positive news for the NFC East team on Friday. They activated starting punter Arryn Siposs from injured reserve and elevated two players from the practice squad.

Siposs has missed the past six games with an ankle injury. He returned to practice last week.

Other punter Brett Kern remains on the active roster, since the Eagles had a roster spot open due to Josh Sills being placed on the Commissioner Exempt List.

The Eagles also elevated wide receiver Greg Ward Jr. and safety Anthony Harris from the practice squad.

Kansas City prepared for Sunday’s showdown by moving through their photo day, with Patrick Mahomes and Co. all smiles, showing no sign of nerves.

Fans turned it up a notch with the ultimate game of the 2022 NFL season on the doorstep.

The greater Phoenix area is set to bring in $600m, blowing away most of the previous hosts.

When Phoenix last held a Super Bowl it exploded on a financial scale, not too dissimilar to the minds of many watching Russell Wilson throw from the goal-line to deprive Seattle of another Lombardi Trophy.

A total of $720m was generated for greater Phoenix, according to Arizona State University’s School of Business.

Though, a smaller $295m of direct spending occurred leading up to, and including, Super Bowl XLIX.
