Dakota Johnson shows off her trim figure in a tight top on the set of the Spider-Man spinoff Madame Web as her stunt double performs a daring move

Dakota Johnson brought her California casual sense of style to Boston while arriving on the set of her new film this week.

The 33-year-old is starring in Madame Web for Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, not to be confused with the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man franchise.

The daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson wore a sleek black t-shirt that was tucked into her tight jeans to emphasize her enviably trim frame.

Dakota, whose grandmother is The Birds star Tippi Hedren, sipped what looked like iced tea.

Her co-star Celeste O’Connor, who rose to prominence in the Amazon film Selah And The Spades, was also spotted emerging from the makeup van that day.

Celeste, who has declared a preference for ‘they/them’ pronouns, was spotted filming an action scene that teased a mystery character.

The fight took place on a massive slanted construction beam, introducing an added level of danger for the characters.

Celeste was facing off against a stunt man clad in a skintight superhero leotard – though whether he is playing a positive or negative character is unclear.

At one point the uniform looked as if it could be a darker, more ominous reimagining of the Spider-Man disguise itself.

A stuntwoman who appeared to be standing in for Dakota could be seen sliding down the beam as the man in the leotard squatted menacingly behind her.

While the announced cast includes Parks And Recreation star Adam Scott and Franco-Algerian heartthrob Tahar Rahim, their roles have not been made public.

In fact, other than Dakota as Madame Web herself, the identities of all of the other characters has been guarded.

Dakota will be featured amid a cast that includes Euphoria bombshell Sydney Sweeney and Girls actress Zosia Mamet.

Over the past few years Sony’s Spider-Man Universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe have collaborated to integrate their characters.

However they have continued to churn out separate films for their own respective franchises as well, with Sony’s output including the Venom movies with Tom Hardy.

Madame Web is derived from a supporting player in the Spider-Man comics who first appeared in print at the dawn of the 1980s.

At the moment Madame Web is slated to come out in February 2024, after multiple delays from its original July 2023 release date.
