Courteney Cox makes a rare public appearance with boyfriend Johnny McDaid

Courteney Cox was in good company on Monday evening as she enjoyed an evening out with boyfriend Johnny McDaid and, somewhat surprisingly, Ali G star Sacha Baron Cohen. 

The three stars were a long way from suburban Staines – the stomping ground of Cohen’s best known comedy character – while dining out in London’s upmarket Mayfair.

The small group enjoyed a night out at local pub-restaurant The Audley Arms, with American actress Cox, 58 – a household name thanks to her breakout role in Friends – instantly noticeable as she joined patrons inside the small, intimate bar.

She appeared to be even more distinguishable as they made an exit later that night after opting to walk alongside Cohen, 51, whose towering six foot three inch frame instantly drew attention to their difference in height. 

The pair appeared to be deep in conversation as they made their way home, with Snow Patrol star McDaid, 46, offering Cohen a warm hug as they climbed into separate cars.
