Desperate search is launched for missing brother and sister who vanished seven days ago – with police holding grave concerns for their welfare

Two children are still missing after the pair vanished last week from a rural town. 

Siblings Hadley, 11 and Maylea, 8, disappeared on Wednesday, January 18 from Ross Creek, 13km south-west of Ballarat in Victoria.

It is understood the brother and sister could be travelling in a black 2013 Ford Territory, registration 1AD7YH.

Siblings Hadley, 11 and Maylea, 8, (pictured) disappeared on Wednesday, January 18 from Ross Creek, 13km south-west of Ballarat in Victoria

Police have issued an urgent call-out for their whereabouts amid ‘concerns for their welfare due to their ages’. 

It is reported the children may be in regional Victoria, or southern New South Wales. 

The pair also went missing in August last year from Lake Goldsmith, 40km west of Ross Creek.

Victoria police said investigations were ongoing. 

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
