Colin Fassnidge reveals his wild night with the ‘smoking hot’ sisters from Irish band The Corrs

Colin Fassnidge has detailed a wild encounter he had with Irish pop rock band The Corrs.

Appearing on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa on Friday, the 48-year-old Irish-Australian chef recalled a night he spent cooking for Corrs siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim.

Following a rap battle between him and hosts Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli, where Fitzy rapped ‘have you got the number of anyone in The Corrs?’ Colin revealed his night out with the group ‘years ago’.

'I had to cook and they got mangled (drunk). They were drinking Frangelico and they were asleep for dessert,' he recalled during a chat with Nova's Fitzy and Wippa on Friday

‘Have you ever met The Corrs?’ Fitzy asked.

‘I did. At an establishment years ago,’ Colin replied.

‘She is hot! She was smoking hot,’ he added of one of the three female members.

Fitzy and Wippa were surprised, joking that Colin had ‘cooked them’.

The band’s violinist Sharon Corr recently made an Australian TV appearance to talk about her family’s upcoming concert in Hunter Valley.

Sharon looked almost unrecognisable as she did an interview on Sunrise last month.

The 52-year-old has ditched the striking raven locks all the members of the iconic Irish band were known for, and now rocks a light two-toned hair colour which framed her youthful face.

She sported a rock band T-shirt and a pair of chic spectacles as she spoke about touring Australia.

Wearing barely any makeup on her face, the mother-of-two looked incredibly youthful.

Sharon recently performed at the Esquinas Theatre in Zaragoza, northern Spain earlier this year.

She beamed as she strutted around the stage singing with a microphone under the blue lights.

As violinist and backing vocalist, Sharon rarely took centre stage in the band she formed in 1990 with sisters Andrea, 47, and Caroline, 48, and brother Jim, 57.

It was lead singer Andrea with all gothic glamour, who was the focal point as The Corrs sold 45 million albums and filled arenas with their Irish folk and pop.

Meanwhile Sharon, who also played piano, was the band’s instrumental powerhouse.

New album The Fool & The Scorpion is her third individual effort in 11 years – her solo journey was put on hold in 2015 for a Corrs reunion.

Sharon relocated to Madrid with Robert ‘Gavin’ Bonnar, 55, and their two children in 2018, almost 25-years after becoming a household name with The Corrs.

She married Gavin at Cratloe Church in Country Clare in 2001. The couple share two children – son Cathal and daughter Flori.

Speaking in 2019, Sharon revealed her children had adapted well to life in Spain, but gave no mention of her husband.

The Corrs will return to Australia for the first time in 21 years for a one night only concert on November 26.

The Irish family will take to the stage alongside Wet Wet Wet, Ben Lee and Gaudion.
