Sailor Brinkley-Cook was seen modeling all black in New York City on Thursday.
The 24-year-old daughter of Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook was heading into the Today show.
Sailor – who spoke with DailyMail.com earlier in the day about being a ‘next generation’ star – wore a black bra top that flashed her tummy as she wore a black blazer, slacks and shoes.
Her golden blonde hair fell over her shoulders and she flashed a megawatt smile.
While on the show with John Travolta’s daughter Ella, who is also in the Silk Nextmilk campaign, Sailor talked her mom.
‘I have always been so inspired by my mom and everything she has done in her life, it makes me smile… I can only hope that my children one day look up to me like that,’ began the star.
Hi there: Sailor Brinkley-Cook was seen modeling all black in New York City on Thursday. The 24-year-old daughter of Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook was heading into the Today show
Then she got back to work: ‘It’s great to support this next generation with Silk Nextmilk.’
Sailor also said that she loves to remain positive. And she feels 2023 is Michael Jordan’s year because he was number 23, which means good things will come.
‘He was the greatest of all time,’ she added.
Ella revealed that she didn’t know ‘until recently’ that her late mom Kelly Preston did a milk campaign. ‘It’s been amazing for me,’ she said.
Ella remarked that the first time she saw her dad in a movie was Grease: ‘It was inspiring for my love for the arts, it’s nice to have someone to look up to.’
She now works as a singer and dad supports her. ‘My dad is my biggest fan, he loves it.’
And she added that music allows her to ‘connect with other people which is special’ because she can ‘make someone’s day.’
Also on Thursday, Sailor talked to DailyMail.com about working for the Silk Nextmilk’s campaign.

New: Cook debuted in Silk Nextmilk’s plant based drinks campaign this week. It mirrors her mother Christie’s Got Milk? advertisement from the 1990s. Sailor spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com about her own advert
It mirrors her mother Brinkley‘s Got Milk? advertisement from the 1990s where the blonde bombshell sported a white mustache.
Sailor told DailyMail.com about her own advert. ‘It’s the next generation,’ the Instagram favorite shared.
‘I am proud to be a part of it, I love this opportunity.’
Her mother – who celebrated turning 69 earlier this month – also took to Instagram to praise her mini-me daughter: ‘You ROCK that stash! Beautiful!
‘And the stash of Silk you brought home was DELICIOUS‼️’
With her mom: Seen in 2021. And Sailor also touched on her relationship with mom Christie. ‘To be honest, we are like any mother/daughter,’ she shared. ‘We have our ups and downs, it’s a very real relationship, and we are very close. She is a great mom, I feel lucky’
Sailor said that she feels the ad is already iconic.
‘It is incredible to be a part of an ad campaign with so many other next generations stars, I love being in their company,’ she told DailyMail.com.
Those others are Brooklyn Peltz Beckham (his parents are David Beckham and Victoria Beckham), Ella Travolta (her parents are John Travolta and the late Kelly Preston), and Myles O’Neal (joined by siblings Shareef, Me’Arah, Shaqir and Amirah – their dad is basketball great Shaq O’Neal).
‘It is a fresh new look,’ she added.
‘The campaign is inspiring a next generation of milk drinkers and plant-based enthusiasts.’
It is made from plants but tastes like milk, with 75% less sugar.
Her new bestie: Sailor, left, appeared on Today with Ella Bleu, the daughter of John Travolta and Kelly Preston
They lit up the show: The ladies were seen talking to Al Roker, far left
‘This is a new ad for the next generation, a generation that appreciates and knows the importance of a plant-based lifestyle, it is a sign of the times.’
Christie as well as Kelly Preston, David Beckham, Shaquille O’Neal, and others starred in a famous dairy campaign 30 years ago.
Sailor also said: ‘I think those [Got Milk?] ads are so iconic, and bringing that into this new world of being plant-based and having these amazing alternatives is so fun.
‘I think my mom is also so iconic, so anything that I can do in my life to make her proud is exciting to me.’
As far as her own modeling career, she says she is enjoying it: ‘It has been a great experience working in modeling, I am grateful for the opportunities, it’s a pleasure to be invited into this world.’
And the way she has won that incredible figure is natural.
‘I love sports, I am always moving, it is the way I was brought up by my mom,’ she said.
‘Exercise is important to me because it makes me feel better, it helps my mood, so I love it and always have.’
Among her favorite exercises are pilates and yoga, but she also likes to be outdoors with swimming and hiking. ‘As long as I am moving I feel good. It’s nice to stretch and be active.’
And Sailor also touched on her relationship with mom Christie.

Star power: While on Today, Ella had on a beige turtleneck sweater with her hair down
‘To be honest, we are like any mother/daughter,’ she shared. ‘We have our ups and downs, it’s a very real relationship, and we are very close. She is a great mom, I feel lucky.’
And she said she is happy to follow in her mother’s footsteps with modeling: ‘It just seemed like a natural move and she has been there to guide me.’
On Instagram Sailor wrote, ‘Silk Nextmilk is a better milk. My @silk stache goes with everything. Who’s next?’
Mom Christie then said: ‘You ROCK that stash! Beautiful ! And the stash of Silk you brought home was DELICIOUS!’
As far as her close friendship with Ireland Baldwin – Alec Baldwin’s daughter who often appears on Sailor’s social pages – she explained that for DailyMail.com: ‘Our families have been friends for many years, so we pretty much grew up together, and we are close friends. She is a great person.’
The new ads could scream ‘nepo babies’ – the hot new buzz phrase to describe kids of famous people working. But Sailor keeps it positive as she explains it is the ‘next generation’ moving forward.
