Charlotte Crosby has finally built bridges with her former Geordie Shore co-star Chantelle Connelly, after the pair were embroiled in an awkward ‘feud’ back in 2016.

The reality star, 32, was left devastated as Chantelle, who appeared on one season of the show, grew close to Gary Beadle – at the same time Charlotte was suffering an ectopic pregnancy with his baby.

But putting the past aside, the two now-mothers found common ground during this weeks episode of Geordie Shore: The Reunion.

Made up: Charlotte Crosby has finally ended her six-year ‘feud’ with Geordie Shore co-star Chantelle Connelly during the new reunion series

The episode, in which original members of the show reconcile years after originally shooting to fame together, saw Charlotte and co-stars such as Holly Hagan, Sophie Kaseai, James Tinsdale and Chloe Ferry all holidaying in Portugal.

And to their surprise, Marbella-based Chantelle also flew out to join in on the fun, making a shock entrance a day after everyone had arrived.

As the mother-of-one stepped in the house, Charlotte told co-stars: ‘Someone’s here, I can hear someone.’

Before saying to the camera: ‘I’m not gonna lie, I was secretly hoping that Chantelle woulnd’t turn up, she went with Gary when I was at my lowest, I just don’t need the awkwardness.’

The pre-recorded scenes then showed the pair greet one another, with Chantelle asking at-the-time pregnant Charlotte: ‘What’s your hormones like?’

‘They’re alright but I’m just tired,’ admitted the In The Style Ambassador.

As Chantelle related: ‘I know the feeling, I was a crazy b***h, psycho when I was pregnant.’

And later during the holiday, the pair finally addressed their tension as Chantelle said: ‘Me and you haven’t really spoke….Gary’

‘You didn’t know this but when you got with him, it was when I just went through me ectopic pregnancy,’ explained Charlotte.

Continuing: ‘It’s not even you that I’m hurt at, it’s Gary and I’m glad that you’re here as I’d like to start a friendship and maybe feel a lot closer than what we did before.’

‘Right, well I’m really, really remorseful. I apologise,’ admitted Chantelle.

And sharing that it was difficult to talk about, Charlotte said in a piece to camera: ‘It’s quite hard to tell Chantelle what I was going through at the time she was getting with Gary.

‘It was a really sad and low and dark time of my life.’

Back in 2016, Charlotte was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend Gary’s child, when she started to suffer excruciating pain – leading to the ectopic pregnancy that she has previously revealed ‘almost killed me’.

She had to undergo emergency surgery to have her damaged fallopian tube removed, admitting her fear of never being able to have children.

WHAT IS AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY?

An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes.

The fallopian tubes are the tubes connecting the ovaries to the womb. If an egg gets stuck in them, it won’t develop into a baby.

In the UK, around one in every 90 pregnancies is ectopic. This is around 11,000 pregnancies a year.

An ectopic pregnancy doesn’t always cause symptoms and may only be detected during a routine pregnancy scan.

Symptoms can include a combination of:

  • a missed period and other signs of pregnancy
  • tummy pain low down on 1 side
  • vaginal bleeding or a brown watery discharge
  • pain in the tip of your shoulder
  • discomfort when peeing or pooing

Symptoms of a fallopian tube rupturing or splitting open are:

  • a sharp, sudden and intense pain in your tummy
  • feeling very dizzy, sick, or fainting
  • looking very pale

This is very serious and surgery to repair the fallopian tube needs to be carried out as soon as possible.

A rupture can be life-threatening, but fortunately they’re uncommon and treatable, if dealt with quickly. Deaths from ruptures are extremely rare in the UK.
