Among Charli’s looks for the interview photoset was an elegant red satin off-the-shoulder dress, which she wore with a spherical gold Tiffany & Co. pendant around her neck.

The social media star and her sister and mother all sported the same floating Charlotte Tilbury liquid eyeliner that was filled in with white for a chic look.

All three wore a thick crown of voluminous hair that would have made Peg Bundy envious.

The dancer tried out another silky dress, this time a yellow Prada slip dress with spaghetti straps.

The low-lying collar was decorated with a triangle of white lace bearing the Prada logo.

She wore her hair longer than Charli and sported straight dangling earrings, while her younger sister switched between leaf-shaped diamond-encrusted designs and small hoop earrings.

Although the girls were joined by their mother, Dixie felt the need to defend herself and Charli from claims that their parents have dictated the course of their careers.

‘We’ve gotten a lot of comments that say, “The parents are in control, they want this and they want that,”‘ she said. ‘If I see anyone say anything like that it really hurts because my parents are the best thing in my life.’

She noted that Heidi and Marc had helped advocate for her when she was afraid to make her voice heard.

‘They also helped me with work when sometimes I don’t want to speak up for myself. They’ll say it. And I think that that’s been super helpful throughout all of this is just knowing that I have them,’ she continued.

Charli made it clear that it was her passion about dancing that helped make her a success and an inspiration to her fans.

She revealed that she used to ‘lock the studio door behind’ her before rising to social media fame because she was also practicing until closing time.

‘I was there all the time because I felt safe there. It was my outlet,’ she continued.

Even though she became a sensation on social media, she said it was an odd fit with her passion for dance.

‘Dance and social media don’t really go hand in hand the way I do it just because TikTok dancing versus being in the studio is so different,’ she said.
