Cardi B revealed this week that she had surgery this summer.

The 30-year-old singer said on social media that she had fillers taken out of her butt four months ago. The star shared she had biopolymers removed from her bottom and that the operation was ‘crazy.’

‘In August I got surgery and I removed 95% of my biopolymers… if you don’t know what it is, it’s a** shots. It was a really crazy process,’ she said in an Instagram live video.

The rapper also warned her followers to be careful when getting plastic surgery.

‘All I’m going to say is that if you’re young, if you’re 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you’re too skinny, and you be like “OMG I don’t have enough fat to put in my a**” so you result to a** shots, DON’T!’ warned the pinup known for her curves.

She also said fans wanting Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL) should be careful.

‘When it comes to BBLs, if y’all want advice from me, before you get your BBL done you have to make sure your blood levels are all right,’ said the crooner.

‘If a doctor says your blood levels are too low or you have diabetes or whatever, don’t do it,’ she cautioned.

She has had other surgeries in the past: The star has admitted to breast implants, and she has said she wants a tummy tuck.

What are biopolymers?

Biopolymers are polymers produced from natural sources either chemically synthesized from a biological material or entirely biosynthesized by living organisms, according to ScienceDirect.

The use of biopolymers from different sources has been investigated for many years for pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.

But sometimes the polymers don’t do well in a human body.

Per NCBI, one of the clinical consequences, foreign body modelling reaction, may be a precursor of ASIA (Autoimmune/Inflammatory disease induced by adjuvants) syndrome.

Cardi has said in the past that her insecurities pushed her to have surgery.

‘Well, I’m from New York, right?’ she shared.

‘And New York is a melting pot, especially where I grew up in the Bronx.

‘I was really skinny when I was younger, and in the Bronx, it’s about being thick and having an a** so young boys would be like, “Look at your flat ass. You ain’t got no t***ies.”

‘And it would make me feel so ugly and undeveloped,’ she told Interview in February 2021.

This comes after she boasted she was paid $1 million to perform at an ‘elite bankers’ event.’

The Grammy winner made the brag while hitting back at a Twitter troll who accused her of ‘performing in someone’s backyard’ during Miami Art Basel on Friday.

Showing off a massive paycheck from WP Touring Inc, Cardi B said in a now-deleted tweet, reported by DailyMail.com on Monday.

‘I got 1 million dollars to perform at this elite bankers’ event private event for 400 people and only for 35 minutes.

‘Think about that when you type about this Grammy winner.’

Cardi, 30, born Belcalis Almánzar, was paid upfront on November 3 for the gig for Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card members at the SLS South Beach in Miami Beach.

She previously bragged about being paid more than $1 million per show for her debut US tour in 2019: ‘Mind you it was only 7 shows… Let’s not talk about numbers.’

She last month said she felt ‘so hopeless’ trying comforting her grieving husband Offset over the death of his cousin Takeoff.

Watch out: 'All I'm going to say is that if you're young, if you're 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you're too skinny, and you be like "OMG I don't have enough fat to put in my a**'so you result to a** shots, DON'T!" she said; seen in November

The singer, who has been married to Offset, 30, since 2017 told The Neighbourhood Talk both their hearts have been ‘so heavy’ since Migos musician Takeoff, 28, born Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot and killed in November at a bowling alley in Houston.

She said: ‘We’re living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy.

‘I feel like if I talk about – the Internet’s so desensitized – how we really feel, what motherf****** really been going through, y’all would start saying, ‘Oh sympathy.’

‘We don’t want no sympathy. We ain’t no charity case, but no lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, Trying to make him crack a smile.’

She added she has seen Offset ‘randomly cry’ before she tries to ‘distract his mind’ from grief.

The suspect in Takeoff’s shooting, an unemployed DJ named Patrick Xavier Clark, has been arrested by the Houston Police Department and charged with the murder of the rapper.
