Shooting chaos on the streets of Sydney as TWO men are shot just hours apart with one blasted in the chest in a targeted hit and another struck in the leg

  • Two men have been shot in Sydney’s southwest but are in a stable condition 
  • A man, 40, was shot outside his unit in Cabramatta at about 11.15pm Tuesday
  • Another man, in his 20s, was shot in the leg in Liverpool at 6.20am Wednesday
  • Both men are being treated at Liverpool Hospital while investigations continue 

Two Sydney men have been gunned down just hours apart in separate shootings in the city’s south-western suburbs. 

About 11.15pm on Tuesday night, a 40-year-old man was shot in the chest outside his Cabramatta unit.

At 6.20am on Wednesday a man in his 20s was shot in the leg – with photos showing the scene swarming with police.

Both men are being treated at Liverpool Hospital and remain in a stable condition. 

It is not known if the shootings are related. 

Officers from the Liverpool City Police Area Command established a crime scene on Charles St related to the Liverpool shooting. 

Meanwhile, detectives from the Fairfield City Police Area Command are investigating the scene on Park Rd in Cabramatta.

Anyone with information related to the shootings is urged to contact police.
