Brooke Shields grew up in front of the camera after making her debut as a model when she was just 11-months old in 1966. 

She would go on to become a household name after her controversial role as a prostitute in the historical drama film Pretty Baby when she was 12-years-old.

With long careers as a supermodel and actress on her resume, it makes perfect sense that she looked at ease while making her way along the bustling streets of New York City as an admiring photographer snapped a few shots.

Shields, 57, looked youthful dressed in fitted black pants and a blue sweater over a white button-down shirt.

Nailing the ‘rich mom’ look, the mother of two also pair of $700 Off-White high-top sneakers.

The New York City native donned sunglasses, carried a stylish black purse, and had her dark brown tresses styled long and flowing over her shoulders and down her back.

Peace man: The actress and former supermodel flashed a peace sign before continuing on with her errand run in the West Village neighborhood of Downtown Manhattan

The former Suddenly Susan star appeared to be a permanent smile on her face during her stroll in the West Village neighborhood of Downtown Manhattan.

At one point, she directed that smile towards the photographer and flashed a peace sign, then continued on with her walk on a lovely sunny fall afternoon.

Earlier in the day, Shields was pictured during her Thursday morning routine alongside her four-legged family member in a couple of Instagram photos.

‘Thursday mornings with Pepper and the paper #brookeandpepper,’ she wrote in the caption of a photos showing the former Calvin Klein model reading the news of the day on an outdoor patio with the family dog by her side.

There’s also a second photo of Pepper jumping up with one of her paws on Shields’ lap as she enjoyed a tasty treat.

Before heading out on her errand run, Shields wore a white sweater with a dark-patterned skirt and white sneakers.

The Blue Lagoon actress and husband of 21-years, Chris Henchy, are the proud parents if two daughters: Rowan, 19, and Grier, 16.
