Britney Spears tied the knot with her longtime partner Sam Asghari on Thursday evening, becoming a newlywed for the third time during an intimate fairytale wedding that was attended by a select group of friends and family – including A-listers like Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, and Paris Hilton.Â
The highly-anticipated wedding took place at the 40-year-old singer’s $7 million Los Angeles mansion – with newly-released images capturing the blushing bride and her groom grinning from ear-to-ear after they exchanged their vows in front of an enormous pink-and-white flower wall.Â
Baby One More Time singer Britney was the picture of bridal bliss as she posed with her new husband, looking radiant in a custom-made white Versace wedding gown, which featured an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline, long train, and an elegant veil that swept along the floor behind her as she exchanged vows with her 28-year-old husband.Â
The singer – whose wedding was not attended by estranged her family members, father Jamie Spears, mother Lynne Spears, and sister Jamie Lynn Spears – added some fashionable flair to her gown by donning a white choker necklace and sheer white gloves. The dress also featured a thigh-high slit on one side.Â
Pictures also capture the stunning jewelry that she sported for the occasion, including a dazzling diamond necklace, two pairs of diamond earrings and, of course, her diamond wedding bands – of which she had two, while her husband opted for one simple single ring.
And the bride wore… Versace! Britney Spears was the epitome of bridal chic as she tied the knot in a custom Versace gown on Thursday night, less than a year after getting engaged to her longtime partner Sam AsghariÂ
The newlywed popstar, 40, is seen smiling from ear-to-ear in newly-released wedding photos, which reveal all the details of her one-of-a-kind gown, from the off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline to her funky white choker necklaceÂ
Bloomin’ lovely! Britney and Sam, 28, exchanged vows in front of an enormous pink flower wall, with the bride’s long train and veil flowing along the floor behind her as she wed her husbandÂ
The couple wed in a stunning pink tent on the grounds of the popstar’s $7 million California mansion; the venue was decked out with beautiful florals and featured several chandeliers dangling from the ceiling, while guests sat in wooden pews Â
Britney added some edge to her elegant dress in the form of sheer pearl-embellished gloves; her husband opted for a classic black tuxedo, which he accessorized with a white boutonniere in his lapel
Sealed with a kiss! After the ceremony, the blissful newlyweds were pictured sharing a smooch on the balcony, which had also been covered in pink florals to match the theme of the dayÂ
Britney had her blonde hair styled in loose waves that hung down around her shoulders, with her long veil trailing down from her head to the ground behind her as she clasped hands with Sam at the altar
One of Britney’s two rings features a simple band of round stones, while the other is a circle of marquise diamonds, both of which were set in a silver metal – likely platinum. Sam’s band meanwhile has a two-tone metal design, with a circle of brushed metal running along the middle, with a shiny metallic band on either side.Â
As well as the wedding rings, Britney had a stunning collection of diamond jewelry to choose from for her wedding celebrations – with Vogue reporting that the array of jewels, designed by A-list jeweler Stephanie Gottlieb, totaled a whopping 62 carats and included a pair of round diamond and pear-shaped drop earrings, a heart-shaped diamond tennis necklace, and an oval diamond tennis bracelet.Â
The couple’s wedding rings were also created by Gottlieb, who said of the designs: ‘We knew that Britney’s dress had a classic silhouette with an open neckline, so we designed timeless pieces that would complement the style.’
Britney opted to wear very simple, natural makeup for her wedding day – eschewing the dark black eyeliner that she is so often seen sporting, in favor of a much more low-key look that was created by celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury and her niece Sofia, who was on-hand to style the bride on her big day.Â
Images taken inside the ceremony show the happy couple standing in front of a stunning flower wall that was covered in pink-and-white blooms – which also featured in the multiple floral arrangements that were placed in between the wooden pews where their guests were seated during the ceremony.Â
The pair held hands as they exchanged their vows, with Sam seen with a wide grin on his face as he faced his wife during the ceremony, which took place in a beautiful pink tent that was set up on the grounds of Britney’s California mansion and had multiple chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.Â
Pink seems to have been the theme of the day, with the couple also pictured celebrating their union by exchanging a kiss on a balcony at the property, which had also been covered in pink blooms in varying shades.Â
Bling thing: Britney appears to have chosen two wedding bands – one, a circle of round diamonds, while the other featured a ring of marquise stones – while Sam opted for a simple brushed metal designÂ
A fairytale! Outside the singer’s home, a Cinderella-style horse-drawn carriage was seen awaiting the bride and groomÂ
Groom Sam, who popped the question to Britney in September last year after a five-year relationship, was pictured ahead of the ceremony in his tuxedo, which featured a shiny lapel and a large black bow tie
The groom was pictured with several of his pals ahead of the ceremony, although it doesn’t appear that either he or Britney chose any groomsmen or bridesmaids for the occasionÂ
Trying it on for size? After the ceremony, Sam jokingly added his wife’s veil to his tuxedoÂ
The bride’s dress was custom-made by designer Donatella Versace, who was also a guest at the wedding, where she is seen posing with Paris Hilton, who also donned a Versace ensemble
The dress had an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline, a corset-style top and a long train, which matched the length of Britney’s sheer veilÂ
The couple, who announced their engagement in September last year, were officially pronounced husband and wife in front of a small, select group of guests, which included several of their celebrity pals: Selena Gomez, Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Ansel Elgort were all invited to attend, however Britney’s estranged family members, and the two sons she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, were not present.Â
But if the absence of her family caused any distress for the bride, she certainly didn’t let it show on the day, with images capturing Britney grinning from ear-to-ear as she posed for newlywed portraits with her husband, who looked incredibly dapper in a black tuxedo, complete with white bouttoniere.Â
According to a wedding insider, the bride was reduced to tears of joy at several moments during the ceremony, with People reporting that she ‘walked herself down the aisle’ in the absence of her estranged father and her two sons, Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15.Â
‘Britney walked herself down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning in her main dress,’ the source said. ‘She cried happy tears at some moments.
‘It ended up being the happiest night for Britney. She wanted a fairytale wedding and she got it. Britney looked stunning.’
However the day was not without its fair share of drama.
Hours before Britney and Sam tied the knot, the popstar’s first husband, Jason Alexander, attempted to crash her wedding while livestreaming himself on Instagram, before being tackled by police, who booked him into jail, where he is understood to still be in custody.
Jason broadcast himself on social media as he ran through hillside trails, tussled with security guards at the star’s Thousand Oaks mansion and screamed ‘I’m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding.’
He then entered the wedding tent where Britney and Sam’s nuptials were held just hours later, shouting ‘she’s my first wife, she’s my only wife’.Â
Britney’s superstar attorney Mathew Rosengart – who was a guest at the wedding – later revealed that he was ‘absolutely livid’ about Jason’s stunt.Â
Mathew, a former federal prosecutor with a reputation that has seen him represent a host of high-profile clients since he went into private practice in 2001, said he is ‘personally working with the sheriff’s department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.’Â
Despite the dramatic events that preceded the ceremony, it still went off without a hitch – and Britney and Sam looked to have shrugged off any concern about Jason’s party crashing and subsequent arrest long before they exchanged their vows.Â
After the ceremony, Sam was seen jokingly trying on his wife’s veil – before both he and Britney underwent outfit changes ahead of the raucous reception, where guests were pictured dancing the night away in the same tent in which the ceremony had taken place.Â
Party time! After the ceremony, the bride – who changed into a very short tuxedo jacket – and groom celebrated their official union with a fun-filled reception, which was attended by the likes of Selena Gomez (left) and Ansel Elgort (seen far right)Â

Pink floral confetti was pictured being thrown in the air at the event, where Selena also enjoyed some dancing Â
Britney shed her wedding dress for the later part of the evening, changing into several different ensembles throughout the night, including a figure-hugging red mini dress, a long-sleeved red design, and a very short Versace tuxedo jacket, under which pink bikini strings could be seen.Â
The bodycon red dress featured long fringing at the sleeves and a plunging neckline – both of which were captured in images that show Britney recreating her iconic 2003 VMAs kiss with longtime pal and wedding guest Madonna.Â
63-year-old Madonna and Britney were snapped pecking on the lips, with the newlywed sporting her vibrant red mini dress, while the Like A Virgin singer was pictured wearing a long colorful caftan-style gown.Â
The pair were also pictured smiling for a snap alongside one another and in the middle of a warm hug on the dance floor inside the reception, while watched by a grinning Maria Menounos, who was also among the select guests at the event.Â
Britney was clearly in the mood to spread the love around throughout the evening, during which she was seen embracing Drew Barrymore and Selena Gomez, with all three happily smiling as the cameras snapped the touching moment.Â
Wine glasses, cigarette packets, and lighters were seen littering the glass tables inside the reception, where guests danced the night away with pink disco lights filling the space as they partied in celebration of Britney and Sam’s union.Â
The bride was without a doubt the star of the dance floor however; she was seen showing off her moves alongside a pal, while sporting a very short black Versace tuxedo jacket, under which she appeared to be wearing pink bikini bottoms – with the strings seen hanging down from the waist-length design.Â
Selena was the ultimate hype girl during the event, where she was pictured cheering Britney and Sam on as they hugged on the dance floor in front of their guests – including actor Ansel Elgort, who was a somewhat surprising addition to the guest list for the evening.Â
According to Vogue, the entire wedding was planned by celebrity event producer Jeffrey Best, who said that the couple wanted to share a ‘small and beautiful moment with their family and friends’.Â
‘We wanted warm and feminine colors including blush, white, cream, and gold, and a lot of various shades of pinks, blush, and reds,’ Best explained.Â
Oops they did it again! Britney and Madonna recreated the iconic kiss that they shared on-stage during a performance at the 2003 VMAs

Paris was the picture of elegance at the event, where she was seen posing up for pictures in her sparkling Versace gown – which she accessorized with a pair of her signature sunglassesÂ
Designer Donatella also modeled one of her own designs for the occasion, opting for a powder blue number that featured her brand’s signature safety pins up the front of itÂ
Classic: One of the final touches for Britney’s wedding ceremony ensemble was a pair of crisp white pointed-toe Versace heels, which remained largely hidden under her floor length dressÂ
Bling thing! As well as her wedding rings, the bride also had an array of jewelry available to her, including a beautiful diamond necklace and a pair of leaf-shaped diamond earrings

Britney Spears’ first husband Jason Alexander has been booked into jail after dramatically livestreaming himself crashing her wedding at her California mansion on Thursday afternoon.
Alexander broadcasted himself on Instagram as he ran through hillside trails, tussled with security guards at the star’s Thousand Oaks mansion and screamed ‘I’m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding’.
He then entered the wedding tent where Spears’ nuptials would be held just hours later, shouting ‘she’s my first wife, she’s my only wife’.
Alexander was wrestled to the ground before being charged with trespassing, vandalism and two batteries after scrapping with Britney’s security guards.
Despite the drama, the star-studded wedding of Spears and long-term partner Sam Asghari later went off without a hitch, with celebrities including Madonna, Paris Hilton and Donatella Versace joining festivities which took place at Britney’s 12,464-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bath villa.

The happy couple were spotted leaving their wedding on Thursday night in a white ‘Just Married’ Rolls Royce. Celebrity guests seemed unfazed by the drama as they were chauffeured home.
But Alexander – who married childhood friend Spears, 40, in Las Vegas in 2004 before the union was annulled 55 hours later – is now in the custody of the Ventura Sheriff’s Department.
The 40-year-old was easily able to scale a fence, descend a rocky hillside and slip inside the wedding venue, all-the-while telling security exactly who he was, and why he was there – just hours before the fairytale ceremony got underway.
Shortly after the crashing, a source told Page Six: ‘Britney is shaken but doesn’t want to let this get her down. Everyone is thankfully safe, and Jason is no longer on the property.’
Alexander’s arrest is his third in 13 months. Police sources revealed he also has a felony warrant for larceny in another county.
He was last in police custody for driving under the influence in January 2021 and breaking security protocols at an airport in August. Alexander was also arrested previously for violating an order of protection and stalking an unidentified woman in December 2021.
On Thursday night, Spears’ attorney revealed he was ‘absolutely livid’ after Alexander crashed the pop star’s wedding venue and demanded he be locked up.
Mathew Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor with a reputation that has seen him represent a host of high-profile clients since he went into private practice in 2001, said he is ‘personally working with the sheriff’s department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.’
The drama happened on Britney’s own property in Thousand Oaks, California hours before her wedding was due to start
Britney Spears ‘ first husband Jason Alexander dramatically crashed his ex’s wedding to longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari. He can be seen in aerial footage being escorted off the propertyÂ
‘Jason Alexander has been handcuffed, taken into custody and arrested. I express my thanks to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt response and good work,’ Rosengart, told TMZ in a statement.
Rosengart’s vow to see Alexander prosecuted capped off an afternoon of drama within the grounds of Spears’ Thousand Oaks, California mansion hours before she is due to marry longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari.
A photographer captured the moment Alexander was apprehended by security and pinned to the ground.
Alexander claimed that Britney had ‘invited him’ to the event and that she was his ‘first and only wife’ before he proudly stated he was there to ‘crash the wedding’.
Alexander is currently being held by the Ventura Sheriff’s Department and has been charged with trespassing, vandalism and two batteries in relation to his altercations with Britney’s security guards. He is pictured here in a mugshot from September 2001
At one point, he managed to make it inside the wedding tent which was decorated in pink roses, before he was once again confronted by armed security.
He was swiftly tackled to the ground and escorted off the premises with the Ventura County Sheriff having been summoned. Overhead photos show at least six patrol cars in attendance as Alexander’s antics demonstrated a stunning breach in security surrounding the star.
Rosengart told TMZ he’s ‘absolutely livid’ Alexander tried to crash and wants Alexander locked up.
Alexander and Spears tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2004 and were married for just 55 hours before they had their union annulled.
In a 10 minute long Instagram live video, Alexander can be seen scaling a fence on the perimeter of Spears’ property as he documents exactly what he is about to do.
He encounters a number of security personnel and openly states his name and intention: ‘I’m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding!’
As Alexander descends a hillside, he enters the wedding tent where planners are still busy putting the finishing touches, even shaking hands with some of the workers.
Several rows of wooden benches can be seen lined up, together with an alter covered in pink roses under which the couple would later say their vows.
Alexander introduces himself to several of the workers present who are helping to put everything into place.
He then marches inside the house demanding to know: ‘Where’s Britney?’
The video occasionally cuts out completely but Alexander can be seen bounding up a fight of stairs to the second story before entering what appears to be a bedroom while still calling out Britney’s name.
Spears had previously been married to Alexander when they got married in January for just 55 hours in 2004 in a spur-of-the-moment ceremony in Vegas
Alexander, 40, filmed himself talking to camera before he stormed into Britney’s weddingÂ
Emergency services including the Ventura County Fire Department were on sceneÂ
Britney Spears’ lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor said he is ‘personally working with the sheriff’s department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.’
Eventually, Alexander is apprehended by a member of the security team who can be see holding a gun in his hand, which he keep pointed towards the floor.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department raced to the scene to respond to a trespassing call.
Three police cars arrived at the singer’s Thousand Oaks home just after 2.30pm, along with a fire truck.
An onlooker told DailyMail.com: ‘It all happened very fast. Three cop cars just showed up and went screeching up her drive.
‘We were all trying to figure out what’s going on, especially after the fire truck left.’
When reached by phone, Alexander’s father, Dennis, told DailyMail.com, ‘No comment,’ on his son’s antics.
Alexander was arrested on an outstanding warrant not for criminal trespass – although those charges may be added, police sources have told DailyMail.com,
The reason for the ‘out county warrant’ has yet to be determined.
The incident, which kicked off shortly after 2pm, saw three Ventura County Sheriff vehicles descend on the property, along with a team from the Ventura County Fire Department.
Records show Alexander’s appearance was listed as a medical emergency by the Fire Department who were called in at 2.14pm by cops.
Alexander is currently being held by the Ventura Sheriff’s Department and has been charged with trespassing, vandalism and two batteries in relation to his altercations with Britney’s security guards.
He also has a felony warrant for larceny in another county, and he remains in custody.
The incident is Alexander’s third arrest in 13 months.
He was last in police custody for driving under the influence in January 2021 and breaking security protocols at an airport in August.
Alexander was also arrested previously for violating an order of protection and stalking an unidentified woman in December 2021.
He pleaded guilty to the charges on January 4 and was ordered to serve nearly a year of probation.
