Queensland Police say a Mazda CX9 was allegedly stolen from an address in Clayfield overnight.

The occupants, two 15-year-old boys and a 17-year-old girl, were all taken to hospital and treated for serious head, limb and abdominal injuries.

Queensland Police say at least one person sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash.

In a statement, Queensland Ambulance said two are in a critical condition and one is in a serious but stable condition.

Off-duty nurse Angeline Martin lives around the corner from the crash site and she told The Courier Mail she heard a ‘bang bang’ causing her to run outside and saw the car engulfed in flames.

Ms Martin said farmers rescued the occupants of the vehicle and by the time she got to them they were lying on the side of the road ‘confused’.

‘The girl was asking for her brother so I put her head in my lap and said ‘your brother is okay, help it on its way’,’ Ms Martin said.

‘I’m not sure whether it was her brother but one of the boys was crying out for help – both his legs were smashed.’

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
