He’s growing up fast! Bec Hewitt’s son Cruz, 13, towers above his mother as they go for a run in Rose Bay… after he won his first international tennis title
Bec and Lleyton Hewitt’s tennis prodigy son Cruz has shot up in height as he begins his professional career on the international youth circuit.
The 13-year-old looked about a foot taller than his famous mother as they went for a jog around Rose Bay, Sydney, last Thursday.
He wore a tennis visor with a patterned T-shirt and shorts while running through the beachside suburb while Bec, 39, struggled to keep up behind him.

Bec, who played Hayley Smith on Home and Away from 1998 to 2005, wore black leggings and Nike singlet over a pink sports bra.
She also pulled her hair back into a sporty ponytail.
The sighting comes after Cruz triumphed in his first major tournament.
He beat top seed Christian Care in the Tennis International Federation juniors competition in Fiji earlier this month.

He announced his win on Instagram, and thanked his famous dad Lleyton and coach Matt Reid in the caption.
The curly-haired teen posed for a photo on the court with Lleyton and Matt, who happens to be the ex-boyfriend of Rebel Wilson.
‘Super stoked to get my first ITF title in Fiji,’ wrote Cruz, who wore a colourful T-shirt and shorts as he stood alongside his two mentors.

Cruz’s Instagram is full of photos of himself training and playing in tournaments.
Lleyton has previously spoken of his high hopes for his son’s career, believing he’ll be playing in the Australian Open by the time he’s 14.
‘Hopefully he gets a chance to play in this great event if he wants to. Hopefully he beats me,’ he said at the Australian Open in January 2019.

It comes after Lleyton Hewitt was welcomed into the International Tennis Hall of Fame surrounded by his family in July.
Lleyton finished his professional career in 2016, having reached world No. 1 at age 20.
He held the top spot for about 18 months from 2001 to 2003, and then again for five weeks in 2003.
