Ciarran Stott found out that the new season of The Bachelor will now be called The Bachelors and feature three suitors on Monday night with the rest of Australia.
And the Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelorette alum couldn’t help but take a crack at one of the franchise’s new stars, drummer Jed McIntosh.
The 27-year-old former reality star shared a screen shot to his Instagram Stories, showing a direct message from a follower.

‘They need to stop trying to make Ciarran 2.0 happen’ the message read, along with a photo of the new Bachelors.
In a second post, Ciarran shared an edited version of The Bachelors promotional image, which had his head photoshopped onto the heads Jed’s co-stars, basketballer Felix Von Hofe and life coach Thomas Malucelli.
‘You’re f***ing kidding. Okay I’m done, goodnight’ he wrote across the image along with with a series of laughing emojis.

He then quickly became labelled the villain when he remerged on Bachelor In Paradise just months later with a new persona.
Ciarran has now blamed ‘a lot of illegal substances’ for his behaviour on the show.

‘When I’d just come out of The Bachelorette, everything was blowing up. I was going around Australia, I was partying, I was doing a lot of illegal substances, I was going a bit crazy. I just got caught in the headlights with fame,’ he told the So Dramatic! podcast.
‘Before I went on the show I thought, “All this fame, money, partying, getting flown around Australia, this is what I want!”‘
‘I let it change me. I didn’t stay true to myself. I started acting different, even my family could see it. I was being distant from them,’ he said. ‘It affected my family, my friends, my relationships that I was in’ he said.
