A handy mum got creative this Christmas to make her superhero-obsessed son an incredible Marvel-themed dollhouse.
The Adelaide woman wowed people online after she transformed a house-shaped bookshelf from Kmart she found on Facebook marketplace into a tiny home.
She shared her impressive dollhouse complete with a kitchen, lounge, gym, study, rooftop garden and even a jail cell in a post to popular Facebook group Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia.

‘Hacked the Kmart dollhouse book shelf for my Marvel-loving son,’ the woman wrote in the post with images and videos of her handy work.
The playhouse featured Marvel-themed wallpaper and décor throughout and three storeys filled with Kmart’s wooden doll house furniture that are $10 per set.
On the bottom storey was a jail room with two cells next to a gym and home office with a treadmill and basketball hoop while the second level housed an adorable bedroom and lounge.
A tiny kitchen and bathroom sat below the sweet roof garden decorated with faux-grass, fake plants and mini toadstools.

Many in the comments applauded the ‘clever’ mum’s efforts with one saying: ‘Very cool. Love it!’.
‘That is awesome, my grandson would love that,’ a second added.
This isn’t the first time a parent has ‘hacked’ a Kmart house bookcase.

‘Made this dollhouse for our daughter’s 10th birthday. Used few Kmart items. 99 per cent handmade. She said she doesn’t want it in pink,’ she wrote in a post to the same group.
The super-cute house is almost two-metres tall and a metre and a half wide and is lit up with a series of string lights running through the each level.
The tiny living room has light-up fireplace made to look like its made from exposed brick, IKEA-like furniture and an adjoining study.

On the top level there is another adorable bedroom with a boho-style bed, makeup station and a walk-in closet with ample space for the resident dolls’ clothes, shoe and handbag collection

‘I’m 28 and I would 100 per cent play with this! Someone ‘Honey I shrunk the kids’ me so I can move in please. What a great mum you are – all the effort and time you put into this for your daughter is so heart warming, it gave me the fuzzies,’ one woman said.
