Paddy McGuinness and his wife Christine look in high spirits as they reunite at kids sports day

Paddy McGuinness and his wife Christine reunited at their kids school sports day on Friday.

Christine jetted off to Croatia with Chelsee Grimes and some other pals, where they had been busy soaking in the sun together after growing close on The Games. 

And the couple were all smiles in a video Paddy shared to Instagram of the pair enjoying a picnic at the event.

The top gear host, 48, cut a casual figure in a white hoodie and a khaki cap as he showed off their setup. 

Meanwhile model Christine, 34, looked low-key in a black hoodie and matching leggings while beaming as Paddy panned the camera onto her. 

The couple met 14 years ago and tied the knot on 4 June 2011, and they have three children together – twins Penelope and Leo, seven, and Felicity, five.

It comes after Paddy claimed he had been running around like a ‘skivvy’ for his children and had no peace while his wife Christine is away on holiday.

He has even asked TV chef Chris Baber to help him cook while Christine is away in Croatia on a girls’ trip with Chelsee Grimes.

Paddy moaned he has been listening to the karaoke version of Frozen on loop, thanks to his youngest daughter, in between running around for his kids at home.

Trying to watch the racing, he said: ‘In between being a skivvy for the kids I thought I’d try five mins in front of the telly.

‘Was looking forward to a bit of @fosgoodwood Turns out my youngest daughter and her karaoke machine, with Let It Go, on loop, had other ideas?

He concluded: ‘It wasn’t long till I cracked!!!’

Paddy has also revealed that he enlisted professional cook Chris to help with feeding his three children while Christine is away.

Paddy, who has received guidance on food from Chris before, filmed himself in the kitchen asking Chris how the oven was coming along as he revealed : ‘Cracking the whip on @chrisbaber today. 

‘He’s kindly offered to do a bit of cooking at mine. Giving him a bit of tough love! Got to keep these Chefs under constant pressure!’
