Amanda Keller and Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones didn’t pull any punches at the ACRAs on Saturday night in Sydney.
No one was off limits as the radio duo mocked the likes of Kyle and Jackie O and Abbie Chatfield in their opening monologue.
The WSFM stars also took shots at Marty Sheargold and they abysmal ratings of the 2Day FM breakfast radio show Hughesy, Ed and Erin.

Kyle Sandilands, 51, and Jackie Henderson’s, 47, and their latest walk-off live on air at KIIS FM was also targeted.
The shock jocks were dumped from the airwaves by their censor during an interview with Alan Jones after making inappropriate comments.
‘Sadly, Kyle and Jackie’s censor couldn’t be here tonight. She’s been hospitalised with RSI,’ Amanda, 60, said.

Not even Kyle’s newborn son Otto was off limits as she joked the audience could ‘win him all next week, with KIIS FM’s Split or Steal’.
Things got raunchy when the pair mentioned Abbie Chatfield, implying she would want to use the ACRAs trophy as a sex toy.
‘Take it from me, it’s a magnificent addition to any mantelpiece,’ Jonesy said.

Amanda delivered the punchline: ‘Yes, Abbie Chatfield is still trying to work out where you put the batteries.’
Jonesy and Amanda also took aim at 2Day FM which has struggled in the ratings ever since Kyle and Jackie O left the station at the end of 2013, taking the majority of their listeners with them.
‘Tonight, we come together to celebrate the most entertaining, talented, insightful and successful radio people in the country,’ Amanda said.

‘And 2Day FM,’ Jonesy joked.
The current 2Day FM breakfast show is hosted by Dave Hughes, Erin Molan and Ed Kavalee and has just a 3.7 per cent audience share.
This puts them well behind Sydney FM market leaders Kyle and Jackie O who have 12.8 per cent.

‘Tonight we’re also honouring all the very best marketing teams, like the guys who brought us Nova FM’s loveable mascot,’ Jonesy said, setting up the punchline.

‘But, enough about Marty Sheargold,’ Jonesy said of the Melbourne breakfast host and Have You Been Paying Attention regular.

This year’s ACRA’s, held at the ICC in Darling Harbour, Sydney, drew a crowd of over 1,000 industry players and guests.
Among this year’s nominees in the FM category are KIIS 106.6’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Jonesy & Amanda from WSFM, Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa on 96.9, and Kate, Tim & Joel, on the Nova Network and The Christian O’Connell Show from Gold 104.3.
Due to the pandemic restrictions this is the first time the commercial radio industry has been able to gather to celebrate their best in three years.
