Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon put on very glamorous displays as they stepped out at the Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Manchester on Wednesday.

The TV presenter, 51, and the singer, 44, looked as elegant as ever as they stepped out on the red carpet with their fellow judges Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli.

Amanda put on a leggy display in a figure-hugging red gown with a very daring side split, which she teamed with a pair of rouge stilettos.

She styled her caramel highlighted locks in a stylish up-do while she let two strands of her fall loosely and frame her stunning features.

Amanda shielded her eyes with a pair of black square sunglasses and bolstered her natural beauty with a bronzed make-up palette.

It follows reports of Simon Cowell bring set on fire by a Britain’s Got Talent hopeful in terrifying stunt during London auditions last month.

The music mogul, 63, was taken on stage and had a hood put over his head by a magician, who was masked during the show.

The Mirror reported that lighter fluid was poured all over the hood, then his head was locked in a box which was opened at the front for the audience to see inside.

The magician then dropped a flame into the box and his entire head went up in flames, leaving the other judges and audience in shock.

One onlooker said: ‘The audience screamed, judges were out of their seats screaming, everyone was totally stunned.

‘The flames were put out and Simon got up looking a bit shell-shocked while the rest of the judges breathed a sigh of relief as he returned to the panel.’

Afterwards Simon quipped: ‘I could feel liquid being poured on me but I had no idea it was lighter fluid!’

Fellow judge Alesha Dixon added: ‘Simon, he set your entire head on fire! It was very scary, you are a very brave man to do that.

‘It made me realise how much we care about you, I was ready to come up there and rescue you.’

And new judge Bruno Tonioli said: ‘It reminded me of a scene from that movie, Saw, seeing Simon’s head in that contraption. I was captivated, I’ve never seen anything like that.’

Meanwhile, it has also been claimed Bruno is getting so excited during the auditions that he has been repeatedly jumping out his seat, causing the camera operators at the London Palladium to be on high alert as they anticipate his moves in a bid to keep him in frame.

A source told the Mirror: ‘Bruno is a firecracker and constantly jumping up and down. The crowd loves it, Simon loves it… but the camera operators, less so.

‘It’s an undertaking keeping up with him. He’s up and down like a yo-yo.’

The twinkle-toed star is reportedly being paid £850,000 after David stepped down from his role as judge.

His arrival on the panel is said to have caused controversy as he demanded a higher salary than the female judges, Amanda Holden, 51, and Alesha Dixon, 44.

However, Bruno told The Sun he has no idea what Amanda and Alesha are paid.
