‘How did she get into that dress?: AJ Odudu opts for a red latex midi while hosting Comic Relief… but leave fans questioning how she can move in the skintight ensemble

AJ Odudu caught the eye on Friday evening as she took to the Comic Relief stage in an ultra-fitted red latex dress.

The presenter, 35, opted for the bold midi while hosting the charity event alongside stars such as David Tennant, Joel Dommett, Paddy McGuinness, and Zoe Ball.

Showing off her very toned figure in the number, many fans took to social media as they branded the host ‘stunning’.

But it did cause some controversy amongst other viewers as they questioned how she got in – and managed to move around – in the fitted dress.

The annual TV programme returned to BBC with a slew of celebrity sketches and segments, hoping to raise money for the charity – which will help with issues such as homelessness and food poverty in the UK and around the world.

Taking to the stage for the evening, AJ made quite the entrance in her bright red latex number – which featured a high neck and sleeveless design.

She teamed it with a pair of strapped red high heels, pulling her tresses into a sleek ponytail while opting for a pared-back look to let the dress do the talking.

Despite matching the Red Nose Day theme with the bright number, AJ certainly got fans talking as the dress had opinions split.

Many lauded the choice, as one user shared to Twitter: ‘@AJOdudu you look fantastic’.

While another echoed: ‘How stunning is AJ in that dress?’

‘@AJOdudu WOW!! You look amazing tonight on @comicrelief x,’ added a third.

But many were more interested in the practicalities of the ensemble as they questioned how possible it was to move around.

‘I don’t know how AJ Odudu can host the entire show in that dress, but big up to her for doing so…,’ shared a viewer to Twitter.

Another added: ‘@AJOdudu looks incredible for @comicrelief, that dress is unreal but I can’t help but think how you got into it??’.

Noticing that her movement was slightly altered by the outfit, many shared that her legs appeared ‘permanently’ crossed.

‘Aj’s dress is so tight, her legs are permanently forced into being crossed over,’ added another viewer.

Her dress wasn’t the only talking point of the evening, as viewers of the show in Scotland raged as a technical error left them watching lifeboats instead of Red Nose Day.

Viewers across various parts of the country took to Twitter to vent their frustrations as they missed the opening segment of the comedy extravaganza.

The impacted fans turned to social media in confusion after tuning into BBC One to see the charity fundraiser kick off, only to find the BBC Two feed airing instead.

Rather than watching Sir Lenny Henry regenerate into Doctor Who‘s David Tennant, instead they were shown footage from Saving Lives At Sea.

One viewer tweeted: ‘Comic Relief didn’t get shown on @BBCScotland – was some other programme at the start before they cut to the intro with all 5 presenters.’
