Footy great Jason Akermanis has questioned whether his wife’s recent breast cancer diagnosis was linked to her Covid vaccination.

The Brownlow medallist’s wife, Megan Legge, 43, underwent a double mastectomy two weeks ago and will likely have to receive radiation down the track.

Akermanis said he believed his wife was low-risk due to the fact she doesn’t drink alcohol and is fit and healthy.

‘It happened straight after she had the Covid jab, and she felt a lump,’ Akermanis told the Herald Sun.
