Adorable moment a fire dog opens jammed door for first responder who was locked outside in Texas

A Texas fire dog was able to successfully open the front door to a building in order to let her human colleague inside.Â
Koda, who is based with the Georgetown, Texas fire department north of Austin could be seen waiting by a glass door for her coworker to arrive. Â
Unbeknownst to the golden retriever, her colleague had forgotten his front door key and was unable to get back inside.Â
Within seconds of arriving at the front door, the fireman was able to signal to the pup to open the door to let him back in.

Koda was then able to unlock the door for the fireman to walk inside the building
The firefighter appeared to offer the dog a treat for her good work
The Georgetown Fire Department, then tweeted the video while singing the praises of their loyal and extremely well trained fire dog.
Koda could be seen wagging her tail before jumping up and pushing on the metal bar to open the door to allow the first responder to get in.Â
Once back indoors, the firefighter could be seen giving Koda a friendly pat, no doubt grateful to no longer be standing outside in the dark.
The entire episode was caught thanks to a surveillance camera located above the entryway.
