A man is fighting for life after allegedly being stabbed by a teenage girl during a late night Christmas incident in northern Adelaide.Â
Police were called to a home on Petherton Road, in Andrews Farm, just after 2.50am on Monday, Boxing Day, to reports of a domestic assault.Â
Officers arrived and allegedly found a man, 55, from the home suffering from stab wounds.Â
The man was rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries.Â
South Australia Police said the general public did not need to worry, confirming the teenage girl and the man were known to each other.Â

A 16-year-old girl from the home was arrested at the scene.
She is currently being spoken to by police and is expected to be charged later on Monday.Â
