Adelaide teenage girl, 16, allegedly stabs man, 55 at Andrews Farm on Boxing Day

A man is fighting for life after allegedly being stabbed by a teenage girl during a late night Christmas incident in northern Adelaide. 

Police were called to a home on Petherton Road, in Andrews Farm, just after 2.50am on Monday, Boxing Day, to reports of a domestic assault. 

Officers arrived and allegedly found a man, 55, from the home suffering from stab wounds. 

The man was rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

South Australia Police said the general public did not need to worry, confirming the teenage girl and the man were known to each other.

A 16-year-old girl has been arrest (pictured) after a man was allegedly found with stab wounds at a home in northern Adelaide 

A 16-year-old girl from the home was arrested at the scene.

She is currently being spoken to by police and is expected to be charged later on Monday.
