Abbie Chatfield, 27, splashes out $1.75million on a two-bedroom apartment in glitzy Tamarama, after snapping up a $1.45million cottage in Byron Bay

Former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield has splashed out $1.7 million for a two-bedroom unit in Tamarama, in Sydney‘s east. 

According to Domain this week, the 27-year-old splashed out $1,758,000 – which was $117,000 below the listed sale price for the home.

The light and breezy apartment has an open-plan living room which opens to a sunroom. The home has a basic kitchen and bathroom.

The property sits on 80sqm and sits in a tightly-held art deco block in the city. 

The home also features a lovely outdoor deck. 

The home failed to sell at auction with Abbie making the purchase before it was sent to auction for a second time.

Tamarama sits about one kilometre from Bondi beach, with it part of the highly-popular Bondi to Coogee walk.

It becomes the second piece of Abbie’s property portfolio after she purchased a cottage last October. 

The purchase comes off the back of Abbie shelling out $1.45 million for a cottage in the Byron Bay hinterland.

Abbie purchased her first property in October. 

The cottage, made in the style of a California bungalow, features two bedrooms and is designed for privacy.

It is 71sqm and has a spacious 36sqm decking, perfect for sunbathing and entertainment.

Abbie revealed this month to Mia Freedman on No Filter that her lucrative endorsement deals helped her purchase the home. 

In particular, Abbie said her vibrator range sold well. 

‘So you bought a house with vibrators?’ Mia said in their extensive chat.
