A man who was allegedly kidnapped and had his teeth ripped out was abducted as he lay in bed next to his influencer girlfriend in her family’s house – with her crypto investor relative the subject of a $5million ransom demand.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal prominent influencer Angel Bowyer, a big-brand TikTok star with 90,000 followers, was in bed with Peter Vuong when he was allegedly kidnapped from her family’s home in Smithfield, in Sydney’s west, and tortured for six days.
Police allege six men wearing face-coverings and wielding sledgehammers and guns allegedly stormed the home in and abducted Mr Vuong at 5.20am last Thursday from the sprawling two-storey property.
They are then accused of spiriting him away to a squalid Belmore house where they allegedly held him for six days.
Ms Bowyer’s boxer brother, Tim, was injured during the alleged kidnapping attempt, court documents said.
The alleged kidnappers then demanded a $5million ransom from Ms Bowyer’s high-flying crypto trader and property developer relative, Tran Dinh, court documents said.
They demanded the seven figure sum from Mr Dinh – a father-of-four – or they would cut Mr Vuong’s body ‘in pieces’, court documents said.

Mr Dinh is a successful businessman and father whose partner regularly shares photos of his lavish life – including on holidays in Paris.
Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting any wrongdoing on behalf of Mr Vuong, the Bowyers, Tran Dinh or any of their relatives.
Unbeknown to Ms Bowyer or her terrified family, Peter Vuong was allegedly held captive for six days in an abandoned house some 20km from home.
The 26-year-old’s face was covered for days and his teeth ‘forcibly removed’ by members of the group, police allege.
Mr Vuong was rescued by dozens of heavily armed NSW Police tactical officers at the rundown home on Canterbury Road in Belmore at about 6pm on Tuesday night.
Police used flash grenades to storm the home where they allegedly found Mr Vuong blindfolded on a bed, and his teeth and a set of bloody pliers in another room.
Viliami Siasau, 19, Valali Tonga, 20, Sunia Siasau, 20, and John Totau Fahamokioa, 20, faced Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday, while Lolo Liavaa, 19 and Kitueau Tatafu, 21, each appeared in Parramatta Local Court over charges related to the alleged abduction and torture.
The men allegedly sent Tran Dinh a series of texts on an encrypted device threatening to kill Mr Vuong if their demands were not met.
‘We set price to $5million.. If you can’t meet our requirements we cut your boy up bit by bit until you give us what we want,’ the alleged texts said, according to court documents.
‘Want his body in pieces? Get the $5million ready.
‘You have 24 hours to cough up something nice. We waiting, times ticking.’

Neighbours of the Bowyer’s Smithfield house said they had noticed spotlights had been set up in recent weeks around the home’s perimeter.
Mr Vuong was found inside the decrepit Belmore property home after a police operation spanning several days.
He was assessed by paramedics at the scene before being transported to hospital in a stable condition.
In footage of the arrests obtained by Daily Mail Australia, a silver car can be seen pulling up outside a house in Chelmsford Avenue, Belmore – just metres away from the property where Mr Vuong was rescued from.
As the driver stepped out of the vehicle, undercover police cars screeched to a halt and a group of armed police officers wrestled the driver to the ground and demanded the other men out of the vehicle.

Police allege the kidnap gang sent the crypto trader threatening text messages and a demand for ‘5mil’ while Peter Vuong ‘had his teeth physically removed’ at the Belmore property
Cameras had been installed at the Bowyer family home just days before Mr Vuong’s alleged kidnap from the property in the early hours of last Thursday
Officers later searched two men who were in the vehicle before they were arrested and marched into waiting police vans to be driven away.
Four men were arrested at the Canterbury Road property, and a further two were nabbed by officers a few streets away.
All six have been charged, with police alleging the group abducted and then physically abused Mr Vuong who was detained against his will for ransom.
Bail was refused for Siasau, Tonga, Saisau, Kitueau and Tatafu.
Fahamokioa was granted bail under strict conditions, including surrendering his passport, not to enter Smithfield, not contact any of the co-accused men, and not go near an international airport or any other point of departure from Australia.
All men are due to next face court on May 10.
Detective Superintendent Joe Doueihi said the six men had been charged with ‘very serious violent offences’ during a press conference on Wednesday.
‘We will allege these men are part of a criminal enterprise in an effort to export a large sum of money from this man and this man’s associates,’ he said.
Supt Doueihi said police will allege the men repeatedly assaulted and tortured the man for six days, adding the level of violence was ‘extreme’.
‘Firearms were used, sledgehammers were used, the male was tortured, he had his teeth physically removed by these people, it’s a very high level of violence,’ he said.
Neighbours said they heard what sounded like a fight in the street and ran outside to find the area swarming with police.

‘There were people lying on the ground,’ one neighbour told Daily Mail Australia outside the home on Wednesday. ‘We thought they were dead!’
The alleged kidnapping house is overgrown with grass and weeds, with a skip bin full of rubbish in the backyard.
Despite the derelict state of the property, it appears to be well protected with security cameras at the front and rear entrance.
A neighbour said he had not seen anyone coming or going from the house where the alleged kidnapping took place for almost a year.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal security cameras were set up at the Bowyer family home just hours prior to the alleged kidnapping.
Angel Bowyer, who has deactivated her social media accounts since her boyfriend’s alleged kidnap and dramatic rescue, makes a living promoting brands like PrettyLittleThing.
