Hailey Bieber shares bikini-clad seaside snaps to promote Rhode Skin… after TikTokers reveal allergic reactions to her lip treatment
Rhode founder Hailey Baldwin Bieber shared a bikini-clad slideshow of herself on vacation at an unknown tropical seaside destination in order to promote the skincare company baring her middle name, which she founded last June.
The 26-year-old IMG Model showcased her slim 5ft7in figure in a colorful triangle top tied at the front and a video of her on the beach wearing large bangles with a yellow tube top and towel.
Hailey also showed her sillier side in a clip of herself in the ocean exclaiming: ‘Hi! Look at me I’m swimming!’
‘A new flavor is coming next month,’ Bieber – who boasts 66.7M social media followers – wrote about her $16 peptide lip treatment on Wednesday.
‘But for now you can grab our salted caramel, watermelon, unscented, and [$42] lip trio now back in stock on rhodeskin.com.’

The Arizona-born beauty’s update came after several TikTokers went viral with their videos claiming the peptide lip treatment caused ‘stinging and burning’ allergic reactions, dry cracked lips, and dark spots on lips.
One TikToker called @GourdLord said using the peptide lip treatment flared up her tree nut allergy causing her face to redden and develop hives, and she demanded a ‘refund and better labeling’ on the box.
On a Rhode TikTok from February 20, the comments were riddled with customers who had bad reactions including one woman who ‘went into anaphylactic shock, was in the hospital for 12 days, and they ignored my emails.’
On the FAQ section of Rhode’s website, the company noted: ‘We do not currently use any added ingredients that appear on the FDA’s tree nut allergy list.Â
‘We do use other nut and seed oils, like babassu (Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil) and cupuaçu (Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter) and work to fully convey this ingredient information through our packaging and website in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations.
‘Additionally, our products are not manufactured in a nut-free facility so there is always the very small possibility of cross-contamination with tree nuts.’
On top of all that, Rhode Skin is still embroiled in a trademark infringement legal battle with Phoebe Vickers and Purna Khatau whose clothing company RHODE was founded in 2014.
