Scout Willis was spotted stepping out for an errand run in Studio City on Friday while her sister, Rumer, uploaded throwback snaps with their father, Bruce Willis, shortly after revealing his dementia diagnosis.
The talented musician, 31, was seen flashing a positive smile as she carried her dog, Grandma, in a tan-colored sling carrier that was wrapped around her chest.
Her outing comes one day after her family made a joint announcement that the Die Hard actor, 67, has been suffering from frontotemporal dementia.
While Scout took time to pick up a few items, her older sibling, 34, shared two photos on her Instagram stories in tribute to their loving ‘papa.’
The middle daughter of the renowned star and his ex-wife, Demi Moore, strolled through a crowded parking lot while wearing a long-sleeved, gray cropped top with a V-neck cut on the front.

Her pup calmly rested inside the comfy sling as the music artist carried a slightly, see-through tote bag along with a smaller, colorful wicker basket to hold a few extra items.
In her left hand, she easily held a pair of car keys that were attached to a shiny, silver chain.
The singer put on a brave face and flashed a smile after giving the saddening update of her father’s dementia diagnosis.
Also on Friday, her older sister Rumer, who recently announced her pregnancy a few months earlier in December, shared two throwback photos in a special tribute to their father, Bruce.
In the first snap, The Sixth Sense actor could be seen cradling a newborn, most likely Rumer herself, in a black and white photo as he glanced over at the camera. Directly above the picture, The House Bunny actress wrote, ‘Papa.’

Earlier on Thursday, his family shared a joint announcement on Instagram to share the ‘painful’ update, ‘about our beloved husband, father and friend since we now have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing.’
The post began with, ‘Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis.’
‘Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).’
The caption continued with, ‘Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.’
According to Mayo Clinic, the disease can cause a number of symptoms, including ‘speech and language problems,’ as well as ‘motor disorders.’

She continued, ‘Yet also very in awe of the love so may people have for my papa.’ Her sister, Tallulah, reposted the photo and added her own message of, ‘Second this Scouter feeling the abundant love for our guy and our family.’
Rumer then also reposted, and added, ‘I third this Scouter and Buusk feeling so deeply grateful and in awe of the love us and ur sweet Daddio.’
In March of last year, Bruce’s family announced in a previous joint statement on Instagram that he would be retiring ‘from the career that has meant so much to him’ after his aphasia diagnosis, a disorder that affects one’s speech and ability to communicate.
‘This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.’
The caption was concluded with, ‘As Bruce always says, “Live it up” and together we plan to do just that. Love, Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn.’
