Donna Kelce comes onto the field to console her devastated son Jason after his Super Bowl defeat with the Eagles – while brother Travis celebrates alongside his Kansas City teammates

Torn but proud Super Bowl mother Donna Kelce has been seen coming onto the field to console her devastated son Jason Kelce after his Eagles were beaten by his older brother, Travis, and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Following the Chiefs’ 38-35 win in Glendale, Arizona, Donna rushed onto State Farm Stadium’s turf in her 50-50, Eagles and Chiefs outfit to find the oldest of her two sons walking around confetti by himself.

She proceeded to give him a big hug. Jason could barely keep his eyes open as he was clearly emotional after a late Chiefs resurgence in the fourth quarter was too much for the Philly defense to handle.

‘Mom’s always there,’ shared the NFL’s official Twitter account along with a clip of the warm embrace between mother and son.

Ahead of Sunday’s showdown, Jason and Travis made history as the first brothers to ever play against each other in a Super Bowl game. Jason is a center for the Eagles , while Travis is a tight-end for the Chiefs.

Against Philly, Travis was on the receiving end of six receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown, which came in the first quarter on the Chiefs’ opening drive.

Per usual, he caused the opposition all sorts of trouble, demonstrating his offensive prowess often displayed throughout the regular 2022-23 season.

Postgame, the Kelce brothers were spotted congratulating each other. Travis clearly showed his delight at coming out on top against his older brother, who couldn’t hide his disappointment in what was his Super Bowl appearance after being part of the Eagles team that defeated Tom Brady and the Patriots in Super Bowl LII (2018).

There have also been plenty of famous NFL siblings over the years, and many had some memorable matchups: Peyton vs. Eli Manning, Tiki vs. Ronde Barber.

‘It’s going to be an amazing feeling playing against him,’ said Travis before Sunday’s game.

‘I respect everyone over there in the Eagles organization. You won’t see me talk too much trash because of how much I love my brother. But it’s going to be an emotional game, for sure.’

The Chiefs have now gotten the better of the Eagles the last four matchups.
