A former WAG has made a desperate plea to delay her court hearing until she finds a lawyer to fight charges she stole more than $50,000 from a former employer.
Arabella Del Busso fronted Sutherland Local Court in Sydney‘s south on Friday and made an application to move her hearing date from February 10.
Del Busso is accused of stealing $35,785 while working reception at Rheumatology Specialist Care in Kogarah between September, 2019 and February, 2020.
Police will allege she stole another $16,565 while working at the company’s centre in Randwick, south-east Sydney, around the same time.
The 32-year-old is the former girlfriend of NRL player Josh Reynolds and was caught out after faking three miscarriages while she dated the sports star.

Del Busso has pleaded not guilty to the charges and told the court she wanted to delay her hearing while she looked for legal representation.
She explained she had hired a lawyer but was unable to retain him due to Covid-related delays in the court process.
Del Busso told the court she could not afford a new lawyer for the hearing.
She appeared via video link explaining that she had been overseas for the last three months and would not return to Australia until May.
Del Busso said she needed to make some more money while living overseas so she could afford to pay for her legal representation, The Daily Telegraph reported.
‘I am asking for time to make more funds to have legal representation,’ Del Busso said.
‘I don’t feel comfortable coming to court without a legal team.’
Del Busso told the court she was unaware of the hearing date until November last year even though it had been set in April.

The police prosecutor argued against moving the hearing date saying Del Busso had ‘numerous opportunities’ to hire a lawyer.
He told the court Del Busso had chosen to go overseas even though the hearing date had been set more than 10 months in advance.
Magistrate Hugh Donnelly decided against moving the hearing date saying it was within public interest to proceed with it.
He said the 32-year-old was facing ‘serious’ allegations and could be jailed if she was found guilty.
