With their network of paths, junctions and dead ends, mazes have fascinated people since the first labyrinths were invented thousands of years ago.
The most famous labyrinth is found in Greek legend; Theseus killed the man-eating Minotaur at the heart of the labyrinth and then found his way out again using Ariadne’s ball of golden thread.Â
Unlike a maze, which requires you to choose which of many different pathways you’ll take, a labyrinth has just one path, however it is winding and complex.Â

Established during the 2015/2016 winter season with an area of 2500 square meters, the labyrinth’s size increased to 3000 square meters this year as it reopens

Snowlandia is located in the upper part of Zakopane, on the right side of the ski jumping hill Wielka Krokiew, at the very border of the Tatra National Park in Poland.Â
