Donald Trump says Joe Biden is getting ‘white glove treatment’ from an establishment special counsel

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday said Joe Biden was getting the ‘white glove treatment’ with an establishment special counsel after classified documents were found in his home.

In contrast, he said his case was being handled by a war crimes prosecutor as he slammed the double standard.

‘There are two standards of justice in our country: One for people like you and me, and one for the corrupt political class of which there are many,’ he said in a video obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

Trump has delivered a stream of mockery ever since the White House admitted last week that government documents had been found first at a private office used by Biden after his term as vice president ended, and then later at his Delaware home.

Donald Trump on Thursday said Joe Biden was getting the ‘white glove treatment’ with an establishment special counsel after classified documents were found in his home.

Even Biden allies have expressed their frustration at how the discovery, and missteps by the White House in handling the crisis, could let Trump off the hook for his own handling of government documents.

In the two-minute video, Trump contrasted the two special counsels, claimed Biden kept documents on the wet floor of his garage, and said that Biden – as vice president at the time – would not have had the power to declassify files, as he did when he was president.

‘At the very same moment when my ultra secure Mar-a-Lago home was raided by the FBI, Joe Biden was harboring classified documents in his China-funded Penn Center and his unsecured garage… right on the floor, piles of paper.

‘The floor was probably very wet and damp as many garages are

‘Yet while I’m being persecuted by Trump hating Special Counsel, I call them special prosecutors but this one in particular is a prosecutor and a Trump-deranged person.

‘They prosecute all sorts of things he prosecuted war crimes and war criminals.

‘Joe Biden, in the meantime, is being given white glove treatment by a establishment hack who tried to cover up the Russia hoax.’

Robert Hur, who was named last week to investigate Biden, is a partner in a Washington law firm after serving as United States Attorney for the District of Maryland.

At the Justice Department, he reportedly worked on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

‘It’s a travesty Biden lied to the American people and weaponized the Justice Department or as I call it, the injustice department – to go after me for the very crime he actually committed,

And he wasn’t president. So he didn’t have the right to declassify as I did.

‘The difference is that while I did everything right, I did nothing wrong. Biden did everything wrong.

‘The boxes hoax should be dropped immediately against President Trump.’

While tranches of the media have suggested that Biden’s lapse is less serious than Trump’s, which triggered an FBI raid of his home and the recovery of thousands of files compared with a handful in the case of Biden, it has left the White House facing difficult questions about who knew what and when.

According to the White House, the first discovery was made on November 2 at the Penn Biden Center for Global Diplomacy and Engagement in Washington.

Yet Biden and the White House, which had promised to ‘bring transparency and truth back to the government’ only acknowledged the find last week, after CBS News reported details.

And his press secretary was caught out last week, insisting six times during one briefing that the sweep for documents was completed by Wednesday night, before it emerged that more files were found a day later.

It was only on Saturday that the White House revealed that classified documents were discovered on four separate occasions: on November 2 at the offices of the Penn Biden Center, on December 20 in the garage of the president’s Wilmington, Delaware, home, and on November 11 and 12 in the president’s home library.

The result is that the daily White House briefing is dominated by questions about the timelines.

Almost all of which are met with reporters being told to ask the Department of Justice or the White House legal counsel’s office.
