Princess Eugenie has called it an ‘honour to celebrate’ the Queen’s life at Kate Middleton‘s carol concert in an Instagram post.

The Duke of York’s daughter, 32, attended the Princess of Wales‘ Together at Christmas event at Westminster Abbey, which was broadcast on Christmas Eve on ITV.

In a post about the event on her social media, Eugenie shared a number of photos of herself and her husband Jack Brooksbank, as well as snaps of the Princess, writing: ‘It was an honour to celebrate HM’s life at the Princess of Wales carol concert, Together at Christmas.’

It came amid a busy week for the mother-of-one, who joined senior members of the royal family at the Sandringham Christmas service over the weekend.

Princess Eugenie, 32, has called it an ‘honour to celebrate’ the Queen’s life at Kate Middleton’s carol concert in an Instagram post online

In the photographs, Eugenie, who was dressed in a smart checked coat for the occasion, could be seen speaking with servicemen and women attending the service.

In another photograph, she chatted with one young girl attending the event.

Her appearance comes after Vanity Fair’s Katie Nicholl said Eugenie ‘will be a comfort’ to warring Prince William and Prince Harry as she is ‘keeping a foot in each camp’.

Katie told  Ok!: ‘Eugenie along with her mother has been able to have a foot in each camp and I think unlike the palace staff who had to put their stake in one team or another, Eugenie has managed to tow that line.’

She said she felt the two brothers likely ‘learnt something about the other’s lives’ from their cousin, adding this might be ‘something of a comfort’ to the men.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter made a number of appearances in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s Netflix documentary, which was released last week.

In the first episode, which debuted two weeks ago, the royal is seen partying alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the night before their romance was made public in 2017.

Eugenie was reportedly among the first to know about Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan, whom she already knew through their mutual friend Misha Nonoo.

In October 2016, Prince Harry received a call from his communications secretary Jason Knauf who informed him that the news of his new relationship had reached the press.

Megan recalled: ‘Well, if it’s going to come out tomorrow, let’s go and have fun tonight!’

Harry added: ‘We went to this Halloween party together, where we could be completely dressed up and no one would know. I had a bandana and goggles on.’

Sharing photos from their night out, Meghan said: ‘His cousin Eugenie and her boyfriend of the time Jack and my friend Marcus were there too. It was so great. Just silly fun.’

Speaking about the party, Meghan told Ellen DeGeneres last year: ‘He came to see me in Toronto and our friends and his cousin Eugenie and now her husband Jack, they came as well, and the four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes to just have one fun night on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple.’

In the final episode of the Netflix series, Princess Eugenie appears again when she visits the couple in their new Montecito home.

She is seen attending the Super Bowl in California in February before the clip jumps to her playing with three-year-old Archie at an undisclosed beach.

The royal also makes an appearance in the opening credits for the series where she’s seen enjoying a bike ride with Prince Harry.

Hours later, she attended Kate‘s Together at Christmas carol service alongside her husband and other members of the royal family.
