Ā ‘Yeah, yeah. And, like, woo, staying in people’s rooms and sleeping on their couches,’ Lizzo said.

‘And now, on this past tour, which I was blessed to, you know, stay in really nice places, but I was like, ”I miss my house. Like, I can’t wait to come back to my own home and to my bed.” And I was like, ”This is the first time I’ve ever said this.” So, I don’t know. It’s a milestone for me,’ she added.

The interview with Lizzo will be broadcast on Sunday on the CBS Television Network and will be available on the Paramount+ streaming service.

Lizzo appeared as musical guest on Saturday Night Live and touched off a flood of emotion when she re-created a beloved piece of art as she paid homage to the famous Annie Lee painting Blue Monday during her performance of Break Up Twice.

She wore a white slip as she sat on a bed in a set created to match the background of the painting.

The painting is a self-portrait of the artist, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 79. She didn’t paint her face onto the woman so others could identify with the emotion.

Other pieces of her art were featured on TV programs such as The Cosby Show and A Different World.

Lizzo earlier this month accepted the People’s Champion award at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards and promptly shared it with 17 female advocates who she brought on stage.
