Prince William and Kate walked down the hallowed aisle of Westminster Abbey in 2011, where they said ‘I do’ in front of 2,000 guests, as the rest of the world looked on.Â
The ceremony, performed by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, was watched by 36.7 million people worldwide as Kate Middleton, then 29, wore a £250,000 gown by Alexander McQueen, which included a lace bodice hand-stitched by the world’s best seamstresses at the Royal School of Needlework.
In the photo, the royals appear like any newly married couple, beaming at the camera with elation following the wedding ceremony.
The royal fan account which shared the snap commented: ‘Someone who got the card is selling it on eBay for $3k.

The photograph emerged online as Prince William’s brother Prince Harry shared a number of highly personal snaps in two teasers for their Netflix documentary.Â
More private pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan were released in the second trailer for the Netflix series (pictured, in an undated snap which appeared to have been taken early into their relationship, the couple can be seen snuggling up for a selfie)Â
In one of the hugely personal images which was featured in the teaser, Meghan can be seen cradling her baby bump
In the second teaser, which was released today, the couple shared a previously unseen selfie alongside footage of them riding in a car which has never been seen before. Â
In the first trailer, the couple share an intensely personal reel of black-and-white photos including several showing the duchess crying.
In one photo, Prince Harry and Meghan treated fans to a glimpse of members of the monarchy boogying on the dancefloor at their wedding.Â
Mike and Zara Tindall can be spotted cutting shapes in the background in a never-before-seen picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding reception at Frogmore House, while another woman who appears to be the Queen consort dances nearby.
One of the black-and-white snap shared in the trailer showed Harry and Meghan twirling at their wedding reception in Windsor, with his cousin Zara and her husband Mike dancing in the background with other guests.
The snap focuses on Harry and Meghan, who are beaming on their wedding day and taking to the dance floor in an elegant twirl.
Further clips shown in the documentary show the couple intimately lounging at their British home of Frogmore Cottage
Mike Tindall can be spotted shimmying in the background, facing his wife Zara.
Harry and Meghan are surrounded by their guests, who watch as the happy couple celebrate their wedding with their friends and loved ones.
The snap is only one of a handful of never-before-seen pictures that made their way to the trailer for the documentary, which is set to air this week.
In another photo, Meghan is seen sitting next to Harry on a sofa, with the duchess holding both hands up to her face while her glum-looking husband has his head tilted backwards.
The other photos provide an intimate snapshot of the couple’s life together, and include Meghan cradling her baby bump and Harry playing the guitar.

The advert could hardly have come at a worst time for William and Kate, who were on the second day of a visit to the US which had been overshadowed by a Buckingham Palace race row.
The one-minute-12-seconds clip opens with a producer asking ‘why do you want to make this documentary?’ before more than a dozen photos flash up of Harry and Meghan sharing time together, along with one image of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Harry’s voice is heard saying, ‘no one sees what goes on behind closed doors’, before viewers are shown the photo of Meghan in distress. ‘I had to do everything I could to protect my family’, the duke adds later.
The trailer finally cuts to his wife, who says: ‘When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make sense to hear our story from us?’
The Sussexes have been paid a rumoured $100million (£88million) for the fly-on-the-wall series, which has left the Royal Family braced for more damaging accusations from the couple.  Â
