Queen Maxima was the picture of relaxed elegance as she today donned a denim-inspired navy ensemble during a visit to MUD Jeans in Laren, in the Netherlands.

The Dutch queen, 51, teamed some flared, cornflower blue trousers with a stylish indigo jacket for the occasion.

The button-up number featured a statement belt, which accentuated the royal’s silhouette, cinched at the waist.

King Willem-Alexander’s wife wore a simple turtleneck to tie the look together, carrying a chic, slate grey handbag and stepping into some pointed shoes.

Maxima grinned as she made a visit to the brand – which is the winner of the Plaque for Sustainable Entrepreneurship, one of the King Willem I Awards.

The mother-of-three added a glamorous flair by accessorising with heavy, ornate earrings and threw her honey blonde tresses back into an easy bun.

She opted for a simple, dewy make-up look, choosing to accentuate her dewy skin.

The royal appeared to play around with jean dispensing machine during her visit, smiling as she snagged herself a pair.

Elsewhere, Maxima was spotted smiling and waving at attendees, her trademark optimism shining through, and  posing in what appeared to be a pop-up trailer for the clothing company.

MUD Jeans took to Instagram Stories to document the visit, filming a presentation of its Sustainability Report to the royal and Klaas Knot – President at Nederlandsche Bank.

It comes as the queen yesterday debuted a very unique look as she visited a social supermarket.

Maxima donned an elegant coat dress with a large round collar as she arrived at the Sociale Kruidenier supermarket in Amsterdam this morning.

The royal beamed as she met with the business’ staff and customers.

She looked comfortable in the unusual look, which was cinched at the waist thanks to a large black belt with a silver buckle.

Her outfit consisted of a large, round collared jacket, which matched a midi-length skirt in brown.

The stylish royal paired it with a pair of black leather boots and leather gloves, which she took off to gently shake the hands of her host for the visit.

She accessorised with a small black leather clutch bag with a handle made of bamboo.

Máxima added a touch of bling with a statement pair of chunky gold hoop earrings and a large chain bracelet on her right wrist.
