Stars were out in full force on Sunday evening as they celebrated the MTV Europe Music Awards at the PSD Bank Dome in Duesseldorf, Germany – with many taking to social media to document the evening.
And leading the parade was rapper Stormzy, who unexpectedly shared a beaming selfie with Taylor Swift from the evening, after doucmenting his journey to find the Grammy winner.
His ex-girlfriend Maya Jama also shared some insight into the evening with her 2.4M followers, posing for a slew of sultry selfies from the car journey there alongside pal Leomie Anderson.

Stormzy arrived at the coveted music awards on a hunt for hitmaker Taylor, keeping his 3M Instagram followers updated as he set out on the mission.
‘Mans tryna’ get a selfie with Taylor swift,’ began the musician in a video as he looked down at the camera, with a giggle coming from the background as a woman could be heard saying: ‘I’ll put in a word’.
Looking up at the guest, he continued: ‘Taylor where you? I want a selfie Taylor. I’ve been tryna’ get a selfie with Taylor Swift man, been running around.’
Sharing another video to his Stories shortly after, Stormzy excitedly chanted at the camera as he had written ‘Mans going to meet Taylor’ over the video.

But his team began to shush the star as they explained he needed some loose powder on before heading out – with the star apologising as he explained: ‘I’m just excited to meet Taylor’.
An hour later, Stormzy shared a beaming selfie with Anti-Hero hitmaker Taylor, who gave a the camera a flashing smile while holding a glass of champagne.
Posting the snap to both his Stories and Instagram grid, the rapper shared another selfie on his own as he admitted to being ‘so happy’ after securing the shot.
And even his famour pals were happy that the musician had succeeded in his mission, with Strictly’s Motsi Mabuse penning: ‘Lol. You did it !! Lesson of the day never give up !!! & we know Taylor don’t do selfies lol’.
Taylor opted for radiosilence on her own social media, despite scooping up four of the top awards; both Best Vid and Best Longform Video for her All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version), Best Artist and Best U.S Act.
