The fiery moment a transgender woman is kicked out of a hotel room after an encounter with the owners has been caught on video. 

Cassie Love, 27 claims she was evicted from the property because she is transgender, but the owner says it was because she was smoking cannabis in the room, an allegation she denies. 

Footage of the fiery encounter has been uploaded to TikTok and received nearly two million views. 

Love was staying at the Whitewood Suites in Christchurch, New Zealand in April, with her partner when she was confronted by the owners of the motel, Mike Woodfield and Elsa Lee at the door of her room. 

Love tried to greet them, but her handshake offer was refused as the woman Lee tells her, ‘we know what you’ve been doing. We have a CCTV.’

The owners then ordered Love and her girlfriend to leave, alleging they had smoked marijuana in the room and left it in a mess. 

‘Go in the bedroom and f***ing dress and f***ing get out,’ Woodfield said. ‘I’m sick of f***ing c***s like you.’ 

As Woodfield orders the guests to leave, Lee phones the police and is heard saying, ‘he dress up like a girl’.

‘We’re getting out stuff sir,’ Love says as the angry hotel owner confronts her.

‘Well f***ing grab it quick, you’re running out of f***ing time,’ said Woodfield.

‘Even though I’d been attacked before, at least then I knew that like the public would see it or it was going to be on camera.’

She alleges that she was targeted because she is transgender, however the motel owner claims she was evicted because she and her girlfriend smoked marijuana in the room, allegations Love denies.

‘People are people, I’m not going to judge them,’ he told Stuff.co.nz.

Asked if he has issues with transgender people, Mr Woodfield replied ‘I don’t care mate if he f…s rabbits. I mix with gay people, I mix with whoever.’

Woodfield also said the couple left behind a mess in the hotel room that took days to clean.

He claimed he refereed to Love by male pronouns because ‘she had booked the room under her legal birth name and checked in wearing masculine clothing.’

Love said she couldn’t understand why Woodfield was continuing to misgender her when speaking about the situation with other media.

‘I haven’t been that person for 10 years,’ she told the New Zealand Herald.

She also alleged the hotel management took another $300 from her card a month later. 

Ms Love said NZ ‘is not as progressive as we think it is’. 

‘I didn’t do anything wrong. I’ve let so many things slide in my life. This is too far.’

She claimed to have lodged a complaint with the New Zealand Human Rights Commission.”

Daily Mail has approached the Whitewood Motel for comment.
