Tammy Hembrow announced the arrival of her daughter on Sunday morning.

And just hours after sharing the exciting news, the proud mother was pictured taking her newborn baby home from a Gold Coast hospital.

The fitness influencer, 28, cradled the child in her arms as she walked through the medical facility’s car park with her fiancé Matt Poole.

Tammy, who already shares two older children with her ex Reece Hawkins, revealed on Sunday morning she’d given birth to a ‘perfect little girl’.

She shared a gallery of photos to Instagram of herself in the hospital, surrounded by Matt and her sisters Emilee and Amy.

‘The absolute hardest yet most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. An unmedicated VBA2C [vaginal birth after two C-sections]. No words,’ Tammy wrote in her caption.

‘Birth story to come. For now just resting in my love bubble with my perfect little girl wow,’ she added.

‘Mum was incredible and so strong. It’s been a roller coaster twenty four hours but welcoming her into the world has made everything better’.

‘She’s beautiful, 12 fingers and all,’ he added, referring to his daughter’s rare mutation called polydactylism.

Tammy was also born with 12 fingers, and had two removed shortly after she was born.
