‘I’m getting the soundproof doors installed next week,’ he said, adding: ‘That’s for the baby’s room, so I don’t have to hear that awful crying.’

His co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, who has a daughter of her own, was shocked by Sandilands’ plans, and told him: ‘Oh, my God. Are you for real? You can’t do that!’

‘Yeah! You can do whatever you want,’ he responded.

Henderson said it was important to be able to hear the child crying because ‘when they are crying, it means they’re hungry or there’s something wrong’.

Sandilands wasn’t concerned, saying his live-in nanny will deal with any problems.

‘That’s the nanny’s job. The nanny needs to hear the baby crying,’ he said. ‘Me don’t need to hear no cry-cry.’

Sandilands and Kynaston, who began dating in 2019, announced in February they were expecting their first child together.

The KIIS FM host later revealed they had chosen the name Otto for their unborn son.

Last month, the couple surprised Henderson on air by asking her to be their baby’s godmother, which she happily accepted.
