The musician finalized her look with a pair of open-toe black platform heels, and wore her black tresses in slick waves, with an intricate baby hair pattern.

Lizzo is set to perform at the show, along with Babyface, Chance The Rapper, Chlöe, Doechii, GIVĒON, Jack Harlow, Latto, Muni Long, and more.

The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay, 37, showed off her toned legs as she opted for a more bright color in an orange silk mini dress. She paired her dress with chunky gold chains and wore a chic updo for the occasion.

The evening’s host Taraji P. Henson, 51, made her grand entrance in a form-hugging shimmery silver gown with a single chain strap. She wore her raven tresses slicked down and accessorized with a pair of diamond earrings.

Rapper Coi Leray, 25, showed off her washboard abs in a minuscule white crop top, a mini denim skirt, and a matching pair of thigh-high denim boots. She paired the stylish ensemble with an oversized denim jacket and an open white button-up shirt. 

Chance the Rapper, 29, looked cool as ever in a graphic hoodie and multi-color jeans, which he paired with blue sneakers and a baby blue hat.

Actress Eva Marcille, 37, wore a sultry white pearl mini dress that showed off her toned legs and ample cleavage. She paired the look with silver heels and a sparkling silver clutch. 

Lakeyah, 21, stole the show in a sexy black silk gown with a wide side-slit that featured a black feather trim. The rap star accessorized the look with a sizable silver chain and a multitude of matching rings.

The singer, 26, paired the daring look with a beaded gold mini skirt that showed off her tattooed legs. She kept her shoe choice a bit more simple, wearing slim strap black heels.

The No Love hitmaker further accessorized with chunky gold jewelry, including a sizable bracelet and gold earrings. 

Ne-Yo, 42, and his wife Crystal, 36, made a stylish pair on the red carpet, with the singer rocking a dapper black outfit and a fedora hat with a gold chain detail.

Meanwhile Crystal showed off her toned legs in a black gown with a sizzling thigh slit. At one point the R&B star, who’s been married to Crystal since 2016, planted a passionate smooch on his wife.

Oscar-nominated star Taraji P. Henson is on hosting duties for a second year in a row at tonight’s BET Awards, airing live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. 

Established in 2001, the Black Entertainment Television network (BET) awards celebrate African American stars in music, acting, sports and other fields of entertainment over the past year.

In a recent interview, Taraji spoke about the importance of the BET Awards, and how they have championed her throughout her career.

‘No matter how big I get in my career, no matter how high my star may rise, I will never forget my community,’ she told Essence, talking about ceremony.

‘The community is who told Hollywood, “Hey, pay attention to her.”‘

Taraji also told Variety how this year’s show will focus on celebrating Hollywood’s Black men, after saluting trailblazing Black women last year.

‘For me, it’s all about balance,’ Taraji explained. ‘We shone a light on the incredible Black women, and this year we need to uplift our men.’

That will including honoring Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs with the BET Lifetime Achievement Award.

‘He’s getting his flowers,’ she joked. ‘I thought it would be a great opportunity to lift him up and to lift up all those men that he’s inspired and those who have inspired him.’

However, female talent is still front and center as Doja Cat is leading the pack this year with an impressive six nominations, while Drake and Ari Lennox both have four each.

The rapper’s hit album, Planet Her, will compete for album of the year while she is up for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Female Hip-Hop Artist.
