‘COVID-19 wreaked an incredible amount of havoc around the world,’ he continued.

‘But here in WA we banded together, and looked after each other through difficult times.’

‘Together, we saved a remarkable number of lives, saved our economy, our businesses and local WA jobs, and allowed life to continue as normally as possible, achieving some remarkable results along the way.’

The premier wrote that he hopes the change to a weekly update ‘continues to be a useful tool as the pandemic continues’.

The first weekly update will be shared on Friday, 1 July.
