Pine recently told Collider that the film, set for release on March 3, 2023, is ‘like Game of Thrones mixed with a little Princess Bride, just a smidge of Holy Grail.’

He will reprise his role as Captain Kirk in a Star Trek sequel set for release next year and he will play a part alongside Danny DeVito and Annette Bening in Poolman which will also be his directorial debut.

On top of all that, Pine will have to study quite a few newsreels to play the legendary anchor Walter Cronkite in the movie Newsflash, a biopic revolving around Cronkite’s minute by minute reporting of John F. Kennedy’s assassination.
